Zinus 4 Step Easy Cat & Dog Stairs

FIRST LET ME SAY THAT CHEWY HAS NEVER DISAPPOINTED ME; THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCEPTIONAL, QUALITY PRODUCTS AND PROMPT SHIPPING! WITH FOCUS ON THE ZINUS PET STAIR, THEY ARE A QUALITY AND ATTRACTIVE PRODUCT HOWEVER, I TOOK A STAR OFF BECAUSE THEY ARE A SOFT MATERIAL, THE STEPS SQUISHED DOWN, AND MY 50 # GIRL FELL OFF AND WILL NOT APPROACH THEM AGAIN. I THINK THESE WOULD BE IDEAL FOR SMALL BREEDS. SO IF THIS IS YOUR NEED, DO NOT HESITATE! I AM NOW ORDERING THE FRISCO FOLDABLE PLASTIC STAIR FROM CHEWY WITH MY FINGERS CROSSED! I'M UNCERTAIN ABOUT WHAT TO DO WITH THESE SINCE I FOOLISHLY DID NOT KEEP THE BOX.

My dog had a soft tissue injury in his right shoulder so his vet said he was not allowed to jump off the bed until he’s fully healed. At first it took some time to train him to use the steps but he quickly learned and now he’s able to get on and off the bed much easier without hurting his shoulder. I am grateful for this product! It was easy to assemble and they are sturdy too! Thank you, Chewy!

I chose the steps for my small dog carefully. I did want ones that were portable, but couldn't find ones that would work as well for her. I ended up purchasing these and even though they're not portable, they have worked great for my little girl. These are taller than most and she learned pretty quickly to get up them. She hasn't come down them yet, but she can jump off the bed. I would recommend these stairs.

I bought the size XL stairs for my bed that’s 27 inches high because my dogs were having trouble jumping on and off now that they’re older. The stairs work amazing for smaller dogs! It’s not super sturdy on its own (my dog has trouble with the top step being a little wobbly; she’s 17 lbs) so I recommend putting it up against your bed, or the wall next to your bed. Overall they’re very durable and super cute. My dogs love them

My little Schnauzer is almost 10 years old and getting onto the sofa/bed/etc is getting difficult for her. These little soft stairs are the perfect solution. They’re the perfect height and being soft, they allow her to get some ‘grip’ when she climbs them instead of sliding off. She weighs between 18 and 20 lbs so the stairs are able to support her just fine. However, I can see issues with heavier dogs not being supported and the stairs collapsing a little. I’m thrilled with this purchase. I’m glad her little joints are getting a rest!

My 15-year-old poodle who is mostly deaf and blind was struggling to get on the bed with my old steps that only had three steps and a little leap at the top. With this new set of four, she can now just step onto the bed. She is safer and I am much happier. They are soft but sturdy and she doesn’t slip. I did put some gripper strips on the bottom because it would move around when the dogs used it on my laminate floors.

My bed is very tall so I can store things underneath it, and I have a 5 pound schnoodle puppy who I was worried about trying to get on and off my bed. I had looked for stairs that were tall enough and couldn't find any, but these XL stairs are perfect for her small breed. The package came with the bottom 2 steps already stuffed, and then you place the top two foams in and zip them up. Took about 60 seconds to put together. They are super good quality and the appearance is a plus with the great functionality.

The foam is soft & won’t hurt his legs if he bumps into them when going up. The steps are not too steep for his short legs which is very important and easier on his back. He feels safer & makes it much easier for my little guy. Steps are wide enough for him to turn around if needed. Dogs need adequate space in all directions. The last step extends out further which gives him a more secure & confident decline. I set them lengthwise up against the bed for my peace of mind that he’s safe. The stairs are very foamy and easy for the dog to walk on. I personally had to teach my dog to use them instead of jumping up onto the bed but your mileage may vary. I got this for my dog because I knew she was getting neutered and wasnt supposed to jump but I know she also likes to lay in my bed so I got these for her and they work amazingly!

After reading reviews of this product I was concerned about how stable it would be. Some people complained that foam stairs are wobbly or that the top surface (the run) of the steps was covered in a slippery material. This was bought for a senior rat terrier. He loves to run and jump so I was worried about the wobble factor and having his paws slip as others had described. That being said, Mayfield LOVES his stairs. They are sturdy and he hasn’t slipped once! They’re the perfect height for our bed and I no longer need to worry about him being in pain or injuring himself by jumping too high. No more yiping in pain!
