Zinus Cozy Pet Stairs, Blue Placid

Searched and searched for foam stairs for 23 year old Siamese cat. If your pet has failing hips, bad balance, etc. they need steps with a broader surface than every other set of stairs I have seen. Bought the Zinus Easy stairs first; going UP is fine, but she won't use them going down. It takes the deeper step of the Zinus Cozy stairs to give Phoebe the confidence she needs to go DOWN the steps - which is where she needs help the most. THESE STEPS ARE PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!! These steps make all the difference for a little rescue cat who was hit by a car at some point, has renal failure, had a massive stroke - but she wants to keep going, and these stairs help her do it! This stair step is perfect, allowing easy access to the couch by my 15yr old small dachshund (18lbs). The stairs aren’t too steep for him, and are made of foam, which support his weight fine. Seems well made and cover fits well.

Got this for my small but mighty terrier. It's a bit of a leap for her to get on the bed so I got this for little Miss Princess. She ran up and down a few times then decided it was just plain faster to jump. :-D I'm definitely keeping this little set of stairs because we might need them as our dogs age. They are very light, very solid, and the only reason they don't warrant five stars is they can be a bit unstable. I have mine on carpet, I would imagine there might be slipping issues with a hard floor.

Bought this as an early Christmas gift for my granddog, Bob. Perfect size, he's already using it, and it's wide enough that he's not nervous going up and down. I would definitely recommend this for smaller, aging dogs that need a leg up onto the sofa!

Cat won't touch it but I wouldn't either unless it came with additional means to make it more stable/secure to ground. (I attached velcro to bottom and to floor to make it stay in place). Otherwise, It slides around and makes it futile for cat to be able to use without taking a chance of hurting herself. She still won't touch it after initial attempts to use failed.

These stairs arrived yesterday and already my three small rescued dogs are using them. One is 19 pounds and he jumped off of my bed in May, breaking his back right fibula and completely tearing his cruciate ligament and meniscus. After a major surgery the healing continues. I have to carry him on and off the bed and down stairs etc. these steps are giving him some freedom back to get up on the ottoman couch and bed. My chihuahua 11lbs does great on the xsmall steps but small is what I like the best for the three sizes of dogs I have 19, 12 and 11 l s respectively. Excellent quality and firm well made foam and cover. very good quality! My dog uses it every day and loves it!

These stairs are perfect for Maltese duo. Steps are broad and deep enough for comfort and ease ascending and descending (not steep). Also fit beneath a sofa in a room which is narrow. Plaid is muted so really quite neutral with other fabrics in the room.

We bought the large for our tall bed for our 6 pound yorkie. I am so happy we got these and I know she is too! They are very sturdy, high quality, and easy to use. She picked it up immediately and now loves getting on and off the bed.

The steps are attractive, really cute to look at. My dog knew what to do right away. The steps allow him to leap a lot more safely now. He easily hops onto each of the 2 steps and from there he can see where he is headed. No more "oops, missed that one!" Thank you!
