Not quite big enough.
By BarBQdave on Feb 11, 2021
I bought the extra large step for my dog so he wouldn't jump down off my 28 inch high bed onto the hardwood floors (I worry about his joints), but he won't use it. It's not sturdy enough for his liking and each step is only about 6 inches deep for his big feet. This step would probably work just fine for a pet up to about 100 lbs or so. Oh, I forgot to mention my dog is a 156 lb Newfoundland, so he is a big boy. The cover fits snug and it went together pretty easy, no problems with the zipper or getting it zipped if you scrunch it down a little. Nice looking piece of furniture. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because for a large breed step the steps aren't deep enough ( they should be I bought the extra large step for my dog so he wouldn't jump down off my 28 inch high bed onto the hardwood floors (I worry about his joints), but he won't use it. Great purchase
By Nadja on Feb 21, 2021
The product works great for my dog. I have a 5 year-old Cocker Spaniel who loves to come and go to/from my bed. My bed is really high (the frame + the mattress) and it's not simple for him to jump up and down. Before getting the stairs, I used something like a footstool for him, but that wasn't the best as he still had to jump up and down and I don't want that for his back legs. The stairs are easy to assemble and he had no problem getting used to them. They stay in place, so for us, a great product. Thank you!

Better than most for little pets
By SashasMom on Jan 14, 2021
I bought the 4 steps of this brand. The steps aren't deep enough that even my 5lb Chihuahua is hesitant to go up. I finally took the top step off (see photo) so at the top it would be a bigger (18"x14")"landing". She felt more secure when jumping from there to the bed. She is coming up them without treats now but still not really sure of coming back down yet. I wouldn't call these "dense" foam, I couldn't imagine anything more than a 10-15lbs. (tops) dog going up these. The up side is they are not slippery. I bought the all plastic ones with the carpet insert and she hated it. She would slip on the plastic edge. She did that once and she was done. I'll see how this goes over another week or so I bought the 4 steps of this brand. The steps aren't deep enough that even my 5lb Chihuahua is hesitant to go up. I hope I don't have to wash them too often-I don't know if the fabric will hold up-kinda cheap. Best steps for small pets. … more

Excellent quality but not good for all pets
By Phoebe on Jan 17, 2021
Got these for my 23 year old Siamese cat. Very good quality, easy to put together top step (including the zipper). Phoebe will use the steps going up, but not going down. Depth of steps is too narrow for pets with handicaps in need of stability going down the stairs. These would work great for active pets who need a "bridge" to get up on things, but not for elderly, infirm, or handicapped. Go for ZINUS COZY stairs for pets who need help - ZINUS COZY stairs have a very deep bottom stair and Phoebe uses them going up and down with no problem. Down is where she needs it most to prevent jarring her old arthritic joints. I wonder how many negative reviews for different stairs where the pet won't Got these for my 23 year old Siamese cat. Work Great for Dachshund!
By Tina on Jan 23, 2021
Our mini dachshund recently started experiencing back issues. We bought a set of stairs. One for the sofa (3 steps) and one for our bed (4 steps). Our dachshund loves them! We tried using ramps, but our little guy would slide going up and down. We ordered the steps in sand, but was sent the wrong color. I called Chewy, and the issue was quickly resolved...no questions asked! Great customer service! I would recommend these steps for your pet.

Helping Hand
By kaje on Jan 11, 2021
the stairs are for my new 3 month old twin puppies - I am handicapped and lifting them was very painful the stairs worked GREAT! it did arrive with one of the zippers wedges into the fabric and I spent about 20 minutes cutting it our and resewing -better then shipping it all back.. the tag on the outer top needs to be in the back - that was one of the first things the puppies grabbed - I just cut it off - otherwise it would have been a 5 star

A blessing for my older cat
By Grayfilly on Jan 12, 2021
At almost 15 years old, my cat is beginning to have difficulty jumping, even short distances up onto the couch. She quickly figured out that here was an amazing way to make her way onto the bed at night to curl up beside me. Another plus: they're made of foam, so my toes are safe from stubbing up against them.

Stepping up
By Shark on Feb 3, 2021
I have a yorkie that will be 9. She no Longer could jump up on the couch. And barked constantly wanting me to put her up there. I knew I needed a solution. These were perfect. She is now independent again.

This is the BEST!
By DJ1958 on Dec 1, 2020
I have bought several different "stairs" over the years for my shih tzu's. And for one reason or another they didn't like them and would not use them. Money wasted. My babies are all old now and need assistance getting up on the bed. I started researching to see what was available. I bought this Zinus Easy Pet Stairs and was excited about the purchase as soon as I opened the box. Was easy to set up and immediately started working with my dogs going up and down the stairs. It took 1 week to break old habits ( me picking them up) and coaxing them up the steps. My 8 pound dog did fine. My heavier girls (12-26#) took alittle longer because the steps will wobble if they don't go straight I have bought several different "stairs" over the years for my shih tzu's.
