Dogs love burying their noses into the ZippyPaws Burrow Log & Chipmunks Squeaky Hide and Seek Plush Dog Toy, for hours of entertainment. Simply hide one, two or all three of the included squeaky chipmunks in the log, and this interactive plush toy will challenge your dog as he works to dig them out. And for even more fun, you can purchase the squeaky chipmunks on their own. This toy is great for medium and large dogs, but not suited for aggressive chewers. And it’s machine washable, making cleaning a breeze.

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Machine wash on gentle cycle. Air dry.

Such a cute toy and he loves the little squeaky squirrels on their own, or pulling them out of the log. But he tore the log up ("enlarging" one of the holes) within a few days. The squirrels are still squeaking a week later, which is good, but the log is kinda shredded.
Our cocker puppy loves digging, pockets and squirrels. She's never seen a squirrel she hasn't barked at or tried to chase. It took no time for her to discover and pull out the squirrels and carry them around. Call "log" and she fetches it to be refilled. This toy and the led light up ball are her favorite toys
I have a 60lb hyper Staffordshire terrier and an 8olb senior lab mix. I've never purchased these kinds of toys before but they love it! They have destroyed other toys but not these, they actually surprisingly use them appropriately. My staffie is the kind of dog that brings sticks in the house and chews them apart but surprisingly these are untorn and lasting, she seems to enjoy the squak. She has many other toys that I think with her options she doesn't have to destroy these. Anywho, I think it's cute when both my lady dogs get excited and decide to pull the lil toys out of the toy holding the rest. I highly recommend, it's good for their mind.
This toy is cute and my dog loved it. Unfortunately, the stitching on the chipmunks began coming apart the first time she played with it. Within a few supervised play sessions all of the chipmunks have come unsewn and are now a choking hazard. The log has holes but is still sort of usable with supervision. Very disappointed. We have the "Donut Disturb" coffee cup toy by this same brand. It's one of our dog's favorites, she has played with it every day for months, it has been repeatedly washed and dried, and it's still holding up very well. I have given that toy to other people as gifts and theirs are holding up well too. If you're looking for a burrowing toy, I'd recommend that one isntead.
Our 11 month old Golden hasn’t left it alone since I got it out of the package. She tires herself out messing with her favorite new toy. She really needed this stimulation. Hopefully it holds up.
Our 5 month old puppy loves it! He takes squirrels out and loves squeaking them and throwing them in the air. Even though the log is bigger than him, he carries it around and throws it in the air too. Very entertaining!
My 5 yr old beagle mix rescue dog loves all the little chipmunk critters & also plays with the log. He also loves the hedgehogs w/den & especially the little critters.
My dog loves the complexities of this toy- endless joy carrying around the log by the branch stump, the chipmunks by the ears and tail. Can stuff it with all sorts of things, though the game is short. Really nice quality.
our Eve a toy poodle plays with this and to our amazement makes up her own games with balls into it, a good four years later she still plays with this daily.
I have a 40 lb, 2 year-old doodle. In less than 5 minutes, he'd pulled the tail off one of the chipmunks and presumably ate it while I was making coffee in the kitchen. He also ripped open the log. The toy is very cute, but I wouldn't buy it for active chewers. Fortunately, I was nearby and mostly supervising, or we might have ended up at a pet ER.
