    Quality and Taste

    By on

My cats were already eating Ziwi Mackeral and Lamb and I wanted to add some variety to their diet. All 3 of them love it - they clean their dishes in record time and I feel good about giving them a well balanced diet.

Cat Loves This Food - Great Ingredients

    By on

I’ve been searching for a high quality food for my cat after beginning to read labels and my vet recommending not feeding dry food at all. I have tried a few brands, and this one is it. Chicken is the first ingredient, there isn’t any “meal”, it contains organs and bone, as well as green muscles for joint support. I’m sticking with this for my fur baby, and he loves the taste.

Great quality but cats do not seem to like it

    By on

Got it because I have a cat with chronic leaky diarrhea - he is allergic to so much and I wanted to give him food with no gums or carageenan. This is pretty much it - and as high quality as it is - the cats are not crazy about it. Eat it eventually because that is what there is....

    Great for IBD cats!

    By on

This food has been FANTASTIC for my cat with chronic IBD. We add a little water to the pate; but that’s out of concern that my cat isn’t getting enough water throughout the day. My picky eater LOVES this food!

    Pricey but good product

    By on Top 25 Contributor

My furballs are undecided if they like the food or not. The ingredients are good, the food is descent. The pate is thick so I may need to add a little broth. Overall Ziwi Peak is a good product and I do recommend the food. Now if only my brats will eat it.

    Not liked by my cats

    By on

My cats don't like this food. It may be too dry or it may be the taste. I don't know, but it is dry and hard for them to eat. I can't comment on the taste, but when one of our cats who eats everything turns it down, it must not be good. It doesn't smell bad, but it is way too dry. I won't order it again.

    Looks good.

    By on

If I don't add water to this very expensive food the cats won't eat any of it. Even after adding water and mixing it up they lick out the liquid and leave most of the food alone. It has good ingredients and nothing bad but, for some reason cats seem to like cheaper foods.

    Switch for the better

    By on

I was feeding my cats the purina beyond flavors, I didn't decide to switch foods because of the quality of the food, that brand is a great brand but the packaging isn't good. The cans were constantly badly dented. After research I found ziwi peak and the quality of the food is great. I am one of those fur-moms who really research what they feed their family members and I am quite happy with the quality and my cats love it. I just wish the price was a little better but you pay for high quality.
