    One of the best

I have six dogs and four are on Ziwi, the other two, one has a sensitive stomach and cannot handle the high protein and the other has liver issues that are controlled by diet (both are on Sojos Turkey). I love the fact that the protein sources are free-range, grass-fed, and sustainable. I love the fact that the protein sources are free-range, grass-fed, and sustainable. I have a 9lb mini schnauzer that is fed the Mackerel and Lamb, since this is second lowest fat content (schnauzers are prone to pancreatitis) mixed with TruDog White fish (to lower the fat even more) and he loves it. He has actually had all the varieties and loves them all but I stick with the Mackerel for the higher omegas and lower fat. One of my other Bostons has epilepsy that is controlled by his diet and he has the highest metabolism I have ever seen in a dog, he has a hard time keeping weight without grains. Ziwi being high in fat and protein is great for him since he cannot have grains or turkey due to his epilepsy (these are what set his seizures off). Lamb is the best protein since it has the lowest amount of glutamate but he does not like the Lamb Ziwi. He does like the Mackerel and Lamb and the Chicken, so he is fed a combination of both since the Mackerel has higher omegas which is good for the brain and the Chicken has higher calories and fat (also good for him). The other two rotate the varieties of Ziwi since they have no health issues and their breeds are not prone to pancreatitis. … more

    Lacking freshness

By BrunoLovesThis on May 2, 2021

I received this bag hoping to save a few dollars buying the large bag but received one that had pieces dry. My dogs love this food and I gave it a shot but it made my Newfie have bad bowls. I will buy 16 ounces at a local business.
