Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

This product is not for use on humans or animals. In the home, all food preparation, eating surfaces and utensils should be covered during treatment, or thoroughly washed before use. This Stuff Works

I see on here where people say Zodiac doesn't work. They're either being dishonest or personally hate the company. I got this stuff on Saturday and by today (Monday) the fleas aren't just fewer - they're gone. Highly recommended.

Seems to work

As with any flea spray, you pretty much have to spray every three days if you have fleas at all. I really haven't used it that much because I do use another spray that kills more bugs but it, too, seems like you need to spray it frequently in order to not have pests. I'd like a spray that lasts more than 3 days or a week.

Very strong poison smell

It is too soon to be able to tell if it's working yet or not... but there is a very strong poison smell when spraying. And it seems to linger long after you spray it. I couldn't even do all the carpet/upholstery in one room at once because the smell was too potent. I had to open the windows to let it air out. I can't even tell you if it works or not... but I can tell you the smell is so bad I will not be buying it again. I might even be returning what's left.

bottle drips horribly

this company needs a new bottle supplier. difficult to get a good mist consistently, most of the product just drips onto your hand such that you're soaked quickly and stinking of mothballs. It smells like moth balls. I don't know yet if it's effective, but..... I've been using the whole zodiac line and am so far not too impressed. Their on-the-neck treatment stays greasy for days such that my cat ended up licking it and having diarrhea. As for their shampoo I can't be sure if the reason it didn't work is that I wasn't thorough (maybe i didnt lather his belly enough...) or if it just didn't work. i ttthhhink i wasnt thorough..? Idk but, there was flea dirt falling off my cat the very next day. I have to wait a week to reshampoo and a month to re neck-treat, though I'll be switching to Cheristin for the neck treatment. Anyway, back to this product - smells like mothballs, bottle leaks all over your hand. whether it works is yet to be seen but as i dont trust their neck treatment ive begun to lose faith in this upholstery stuff.. Side note: the VetsBest room spray smells AMAZING, so i come in with that after this, just to cover up the morgue-like mothball wreak. I'd love to rely solely on VetsBest but, i just... idk.. harsh chemicals seem like the way to go for infestations. I'll be trying the VetsBest waterless bath between now and when I can Zodiac shampoo my cat again. Waiting a week to reshampoo as per the label's safety guideline, but by then the eggs will have hatched and I'll have to do this vacuuming spraying launder the whole house thing agaaaaainnn so im hoping the VetsBest waterless bath (repeatable every 2 days) can help me stave this cycle til the next death-defying WATERbath. Agh. My cat! My cat my cat my cat... I LOVE my cat, but I feel like I spend all of my time and money on my cat. My mother warned me! "If you get a cat in grad school that'll be that." Oh ho ho. Nevermind children, just nevermind them. One cat is enough. Finished my thesis while dealing with ringworm, then there was the corneal injury, and now it's episode three of Fleas. Aye yai yai yai yai. Needless to say, it's all worth it because HE'S MY BOBBY. Aye, sweet Bobby, pitch black fluff with somber green eyes. Gentle cat! Tiny meow! Jumbo clumsy body! Body covered in fleas. Poor itchy Bobby. I will save poor Bobby from fleas.

It works but spray bottle sucks!

Stuff works but, the spray bottle drips all over hands(wear gloves). Toxic smelling but disappears in about an hour or so. Directions on the package suck too!
