Birds didnt like it AND IT MOLDED
The birds did not like it at all at first but I figured I would leave it in there like there cuttle bone to see if i could catch them using it when they thought I wasnt paying attention like they do with there cuttlebone. But with only 7 days of being in the cage it started to MOLD!!
Never got to see if our bird liked it because the things you twist around the cage tore off immediately it bummed us out because our parakeet needs something it enjoys to shave his beak down
This was a great find for our parakeets. Not only do they seem to like the taste, but it helps to keep their beaks from growing too long & gives them an extra activity to keep them interested, too.
Sir Birb is 0% into it
Like no interest in it except as a perch. I've tried everything from putting a little of his mango on it to putting his Serranos over it and putting it by his pellets and millet and nothing. GCC.
Thumbs down on this one
But not by me - my little persnickety lovebirds don't care for it. I knew this in advance but chose to try it out on them anyway. So far, since I weaned them off seeds [it was tough and took weeks!], all they have been eating is pelleted food. That's it! And, dagnabbit, this mineral block would have been nutritious for them. I would recommend it to anyone with more adventurous birds when it comes to foods, but caution anyone with "fuss balls" like mine. Maybe if I cut this mineral block down into a pellet shape and size....?
bird banquet failure
my bird did not care for it, still intact in the cage, of course, i will never buy again neither recommend it. well, that's the way it goes.
Excellent service and quality for my pets. Very happy with my items.
Bird wouldn't touch it
We are back to standard mineral block. Bird wouldn't even go near it and she's not a picky bird at all.
Must be tasty
My conure likes it! I always keep one of these in her cage to keep her beak in good condition. She must really like the taste because she uses it every day and her beak looks great. It's an attractive melon color also and it smells good.
My birds love this product! I almost always had a cuttlebone before but decided to try this mineral block, and ever since I put this in their cage, it has become their preferred way to get calcium. Not to mention, they are getting the minerals they need, all while the little fruit pieces are giving them something to work towards.
