I have two budgies (parakeets) and this is their favorite mineral block. I've offered several different brands of mineral blocks and this is the only one they would ever touch. I would definitely order again.

  • Full of fruit nutrients but budgie doesn't like it

    By on

As nutrient dense as this block is, my budgie doesn't like it. I notice that the block has a bit of an odor and my budgie just shakes his head in disappointment. NOT FOR PICKY BIRDS.

  • Good purchase.

Two out of three of my birds have discovered this and are using it. It took them a few days to approach it. Easily attaches to the cage. Good addition for their nutrition and health.

  • Great, also helps beak

    By on

I love this! It gives them the nutrients they need and helos keep their beak in good shape. At first they wanted nothing to do with it. But that's only since it was a foreign object in THIER home. After a while one started nubbling and before you know it. BAM Half gone. I really like it because it gives them minerals and is a tiny bit tougher than a cuttle bone so the beak definetly gets trimmed while they eat.

  • Yummy, healthy treat!

    By on

My feathered babies love these and the veggie flavored blocks! It’s a wonderful product because my birds will have absolutely nothing to do with traditional “plain flavor” cuttlebones, so this fulfills their nibbling desires & is great for the health & their beaks! I Also love the competitive price! Chewy has THE best price out there for this product! Thank you Chewy! :)

My bird went into to it every day which was surprising because the ones I bought at the store she won’t even touch but I know why this one smelled as if it was fresh fruit the others I bought at the store has very little smell if any at all to them I’m glad I found chewy .

  • My 2 Parakeets

    By on

It only took one day for my 2 birds to chomp down on this block. I didn't purchase my first block here, but will in the future. Although there are a few ings. that I don't particularly like in this product, my birds do like it, and seem to be doing very well. The price is good, and will buy from Chewy again.

My bird loves it. She chews on it and plays with it too. Whenever I need to get another one I am glad to know that I can order it from your company. It is more convenient for my to order it through you than it is for my to go to the store. Thank you.

I put this out when I first got it but cockatiels are funny when it comes to new things. It may take them awhile before they try it. They prefer the veggie ones but I didn't see them.
