Vitamin deficiencies are not uncommon in captive bred reptiles, that’s why Zoo Med developed this Dr. Turtle Slow-Release Calcium Block Turtle Supplement. This block is made of 100% calcium sulfate and magnesium chloride to provide your pet with the required calcium he needs to encourage healthy shell growth. Once you place it inside his water, the block will begin to dissolve, slowly releasing calcium while conditioning the water.
Helps provide your turtle with the required calcium he needs.
Encourages proper shell growth and development when accompanied with UVB lighting and heat.
The block slowly releases calcium as it dissolves.
Easy-to-use—simply place the turtle-shaped block into your pet’s water.
Helps condition water to encourage a healthy environment for your BFF.
Everyone loves this ! My snails shells are slowly getting more colorful now that I’ve put this in my tank ! I wish I could hide it a little more but it’s cute enough so it’s not an issue

The calcium block is great for my snails and turtles shell health, very easy to use and I like how it’s safe if ingested by the turtle.
