Let your betta sleep like a log with the Zoo Med Floating Betta Log. This nature-inspired aquarium accessory makes for a perfect place for your betta to sleep, play, breed, feed, or blow a bubblenest. It features an opening on the top that makes it easy for your pal to eat without leaving his cozy log nest. Designed to bring a touch of nature into your betta’s enclosure, it helps reduce boredom from captivity and stimulates natural betta behaviors. There’s no set up or assembly to use―simply place in your aquarium, and let your pal naturally find this floating sanctuary.

Patent pending floating design features a “feeding hole” so your betta can eat while inside.
Helps reduce boredom from captivity and stimulates natural betta behaviors.
Inspired by bettas’ wild environment and designed to look naturally great in any betta enclosure.
To use, simply place in your aquarium out of the package, and let your pal find it on his own.
Remove from package and rinse with warm water. Gently lace your Floating Betta log in your Betta’s home (minimum 2 gallon container size, otherwise it will not fit). It may take your Betta a day or two to get use to his new Floating Betta Log. Placing his food in the top feeding hole will encourage him to use the log.
Even fish I've had that didn't seem to care for other hides or things that floated atop the water would swim through and rest in their Floating Betta Log. I don't use the feeding hole to feed, personally, but I have had bettas make bubble nests in it. They last for a long time, too. I am on my second one, because my first was in a tank with an algae problem I couldn't get under control, and I had to scrub it weekly, which eventually did cause it not to float after over two years, but the one currently in my tank is going on 4 years old and is still in great condition.

It took a couple days for my betta to realize what this was for, granted he currently has swim bladder so hangs out mostly on the bottom of the tank, however, as soon as he found this, it is now mostly where he always hang out. 10/10 recommend.

Once again, my Betta shows his weirdness. He doesn't like it. I waited a week; he went into it once and left it immediately. He didn't like the Betta hammock, either. No more toys for this guy. However, other Bettas probably would like it.

Within 1 hour, Lenny went in and checked it out. I find him in there frequently relaxing or hiding from his two new extremely hyperactive little tank mates.
Make sure to wash beforehand

When I rinsed this off flakes of paint came off. Make sure to give it a good cleaning before using. Fish is still getting used to it, but is very interested.
It does not roll over which is nice, no matter what it will always stay right side up.

When Odd Thomas the Betta isn’t lounging in his floating log, my Mystery Snails are! Great entertainment for all!

It's interesting that the betta floats along with the log. It seems like a place where the betta rests.

This floating log completed my tank and made Finnley so super happy! He went in it within 30 seconds of me putting it in his tank. It's his new favorite place to hang out. Great product.
A must have!!

I saw this for the longest time and finally gave in and bought one. My betta spends a lot of his time I. His log. Ever since I added it to his tank he has seemed so much happier.

Floats as it should, and has a nice hole at the top so my betta can breath while in it
