I use it for my young dwarf caiman so he can bask on it. Doesn’t get up on it so much but when it comes to food being placed on it, he comes right up to it. So it has its uses. Otherwise, pretty good log for a young dwarf caiman.
Our Painted Turtle George just loves his Zoo med floating log ! He spends time inside of it, on top of it, and pushing it around ! Fits perfectly in a 50 gallon plus tank !
Log is weighted and roomy enough for adult red ear slider, 10 yrs old, to bask...good purchase...God for 20 gal. OR more...
It floats well, but my red eared slider (7" long, 4" wide) keeps getting stuck in it.
