Quality but porous
The dish is rock solid! Very nice feature to add into my Pythons terrarium but I didn’t realize how porous it would be. I am worried about bacteria. We shall see but I hope not because I really like the dish!
yes, it really is bigger than you expect.
As most of the other reviewers have mentioned, it’s big. The sides are bulky and slightly textured. My beardies don’t really go in it, as far as I can tell. However, they can easily get out if they fall in or decided to soak. It helps keep the humidity in a manageable range. No stray Discoid roaches have drown, so that’s a win. Just be aware of how much space this bad boy takes up *before* you buy it. The pictures don’t really do it justice.
Big enough without losing space
Our ball pythons have both been using theirs! Finally a dish big enough they can soak if they want.
Sturdy & easily sanitized.
Great for "spa day". My rescue beardie continues to have shedding issues if not soaked periodically. Using the sink stressed him as did anything I put him in outside his enclosure. This dish was the answer. The lower sides are easy for him to maneuver. I appreciate not having to worry about him drowning while still providing enough water to SOAK. The weight keeps him from flipping the dish and flooding his habitat... a problem experienced with other tubs I tried. You can also lift this thing (while full!) with one hand and it will not warp & spill. Quality product! 10/10 would recommend.
Good quality, easy to clean, measure twice before ordering.
I like Zoo Med water dishes, and these are no exception. They’re easy to clean with a little dish soap and a sponge. I do wish the coloring was just a little more natural. I ordered the extra large size and it was a little bigger than I imagined. So double check your measurements, make sure it will fit in your cage. That said, my snakes have really enjoyed being able to fully soak themselves in the dishes.

They are very large which is what I was wanting for my ball pythons. I ordered two XL ones. Both are very well made. Each holds a full gallon of water!

Not quite right, but perfect!
My son ordered an extra large without checking the dimensions. Got it delivered and it didn’t fit the cage. I wrote an email asking for an exchange and within minutes got a reply stating they already refunded the money, confirmed the could send a new one to same address and payment method with free shipping, and told us to donate the old one to a shelter. The new one was delivered the very next day!!! It was a perfect fit!! So impressed!
corner reptile dish
This was A LOT bigger then I had expected. I was planning on using it for my bearded until he didn’t fit but now I don’t think I will need another. I wanted to put it in his cage during the day while he was shedding and take it out at night time so I could watch him. I have a 40 gallon breeder tank and this took up 1/3 of his cage. I recommend for a snake and or a large reptile.
