Can this heat emitter be used on a hedgehog?
Answer by ChewyFeb 25, 2021
This Infrared heat emitter is for reptiles.

Can I use this for my bearded dragon at night time? What temp does this get to?
Answer by ChewyJan 26, 2021
The ceramic heat emitter can be used for a bearded dragon at night but it can only be used in the Zoo Med LF-10 wire cage clamp lamp. I cannot tell you an exact temperature you may get with the heat emitter, as it depends on the size of the enclosure, the height of it, and the temperature of the house.

Was this too hot to keep on 24/7?
Answer by ChewyMay 08, 2023
This thermostat will control all your terrarium heating devices and shut them off if your terrarium gets too warm. By adding a common “light timer” to the thermostat you can also achieve a night time temperature drop, thus inducing normal breeding behavior.

Can this heat emitter be used for a leopard gecko?
Answer by ChewySep 16, 2022
This heat emitter is suitable for leopard geckos.

really good product

i bought this over the phone with a sales associate. i told her the problem i was having with my finches and she researched and suggested what i need. this also include the clamp that i needed that i had not even thought about. the lamp keeps my finch cage about 15 degrees warmer. the lady that helped me with this order is outstanding. definitely a keeper chewy

Top 1000 Contibutor

great for a little extra heat

This helps add a little extra heat for those chilly winter nights. Easy to use, no complaints.

No complaints

No complaints about the ceramic heater. I use it along with a heating pad under the tank. Thinking about getting a second one of these since I have a large tank.
