Feeding Instructions

Aquatic Turtles: Remove 1 Turtle B1 per 1 - 2 turtles and place in water. The Turtle B1 will float and your turtles will eat as desired. Replace Turtle B1 if it begins to deteriorate before being consumed.

Tortoises and Box Turtles: Place 1 Turtle B1 in a separate food dish and leave al1 until consumed. Certain animals will devour the Turtle B1 within a few days while others may take weeks. As long as your animal is eating its regular diet, this is normal behavior.

they love the floating cuttlebone, as they think it's a toy to bounce around.in two days it was well eaten around the edges. I usually place them in the aquarium once a week for a day or so. they are 15 year old, and about the size of a desert plate (maybe 6 in. across.)my two are red earred sliders.ralph and alice both recommend the tasty treat!

  • Not everything meets Tootsie's approval

    By on

tootsie, my red eared slider is very particular about any changes made to her pond. so something new floating around tends to get her disdain, yet to my surprise it only took her a day to begin using this.

I don't really see her nibble these too much but the edges are looking different so I assume she gets them not too sure

  • Very Disappointed

    By on

I just received my first order with your company. I was very pleased with all items with the exception of the cuttle bone. The cuttle bone box was open and inside I found two that are vastly different sizes and discolored. I dont feel comfortable giving these to my tortoise. Photo will not upload to your site.

  • Will Buy Again

    By on

My tortoise loves these things and I was happy to find them at a good price on Chewy. He loves chewing on them occasionally to get extra calcium. Plus I don't have to buy the bird ones and pull off the metal piece. These are perfect.

  • Love This Product

    By on

Great product! It will start to deteriorate in the water if you put the whole thing in there. I suggest cutting it into smaller pieces so your turtle can eat it before it falls apart! That's what I do.
