It says " crafted " in the USA and the ingredients are not from China, but where then are the ingredients from ?

All of the ingredients in these treats are sourced, grown and manufactured in the United States.
Does the salmon flavor contain any chicken? My dog is allergic to poultry and a lot of treats contain chicken, no matter what the flavor.

Zuke's Mini Naturals Salmon Recipe Dog Treats are approximately the size of a pea, less than half an inch.
the ingredients listed have cherries and from what I read, cherries are harmful to dogs. is this so?

These treats are safe for pets to consume. The flesh of a cherry is safe for dogs to eat. Cherries contain vitamins A and C, fiber and antioxidants, which are good for dogs. Specific parts of the cherry should not be consumed by pets. The cherry pit, stem and leaves are toxic to dogs if ingested in large enough quantities.

Very hard and dry

I love taking Zukes on walks with my dog to motivate him and he likes them, too. The last bag I purchased, however, weren't like previous bags. These ones were hard, dry, and didn't smell. Usually they're very moist and smell strongly (in a good way). I'd purchase again, but I'm disappointed in the product I received.

WAS the best; New Formula is AWFUL

These were my go to treats for my dogs for YEARS on walks, etc. The new formula is rock hard and my dogs hate it. Plus, dogs should not have cane sugar in their treats! I expect more from Zuke’s! Will not buy again unless they change back.

Salmon Recipe Change or Storage Issue

The last 2 purchases of Zukes Salmon Mini have been a disappointment. I have always purchased these and they have been soft, moist and flat. They are now more rounded and hard. Has Zukes changed their recipe or is there a storage issue from the warehouse that makes them hard. The salmon recipe was our dogs favorite and my favorite for training.

New recipe is terrible

The treats are now crusty and have added SUGAR to a recipe for dogs. Loyal many year customer will not be coming back unless they return to the original formula. My dog spits them out and looks confused any time I’ve tried to give her the new recipe zukes. Total waste of money.

My go to dog treat.

These are small so they are great for training without having to break up large treats or overfeed the dog. Many dog puzzles/games require small treats to be hidden in them. These are perfect for that. My dog likes every flavor.

Great Treats. Aid in Training.

These Zulu’s are my go-to training treats. My dogs love them! My only complaint is that they become hardened and more difficult to chew if not contained in its packaging. A zip lock works for a few days but eventually those ones become less chewy.

Seriously, don’t buy!

These used to be my dogs favorite treats and couldn’t get enough of them! Now they are so dry, and are incredibly hard. My dogs have no interest in them now. I thought I got a bad bag so Chewy was great and sent me a fresh order. However, that bag is the exact same way. Zukes must have changed their formulas and ingredients. Would not recommend anymore and will now be looking for other treat options.

Large Bag Treats HARD!

Use these treats for training. They are usually soft and malleable which works great for splitting them into 2-3 treats for training. The treats are hard when ordering the large bag. No issues with the small bag. I don’t understand why this is but assume it has to be packaging. Very disappointing!

Not the same!

I used to love these treats! They had minimal ingredients and were so soft. My pup loves the Salmon flavored ones. I used to be able to break them up and get 4 treats out each piece for training. No longer the case! I thought it was related to the packaging letting in air or something, but after reading other reviews and the ingredients, I’m realizing these are different now, they added cane sugar as a top 5 ingredient! Animals should not have cane sugar! I’m so disappointed and will never buy these again.

Low calorie, high reinforcement

Our lab has a healthy appetite so a challenging weight problem accompanies it. These tasty nuggets are only 3 calories and she considers even one a reward. Win-win!
