These have been great training treats and are able to be digested by our mini bernedoodle who has a sensitive stomach.
Natural + Small + Yummy = LOVE Perfect treat for training and interactive snack toys
These treats are marketed as puppy training treats but my puppy cannot chew these because they are incredibly hard. Even my three year old golden doodle can't chew them. I've had a great experience with Zukes in the past but I won't be buying these again. It was a waste of money.
My mini labradoodle pup liked these! The downside was the smell, and they are a tad harder than the normal Zuke’s treats!
While the combination of salmon and chickpeas sounds ideal, neither of our dogs much like them. This came as a surprise because the Zukes rabbit, chicken and beef flavored treats are much adored.
My puppy refused to eat these treats and he eats EVERYTHING! They were hard and difficult for him to chew. I gave one to my older dog and he even refused to eat one. So I threw the bag in the trash. Zuke's Chicken and Beef is always a hit with my dogs, so I thought I would try these for my puppy's upcoming training class.
We typically buy the normal Zukes Minis until I found these Puppy-oriented one. I figured they'd be better for my 5 month old lab. However, I am just not a fan. They are very fishy smelly (unlike the Salmon Minis), and as other mentioned, harder. Not quite kibble hard, but hard enough where it takes her a minute to chew them. I ended up returning the second bag.
Our puppy won’t eat them, I’m hoping she will when she’s older.
Got these for training treats they are really hard, definitely cant break in half, has an extremely strong fish smell, yes I knew I was ordering the salmon ones but the smell is just too strong for me. My puppy eats them but takes a while to chew them and isnt into them as much as the other soft training treats.
I love these ingredients and I can tell my puppy wants to love these because she tries so hard, but she has lost / is losing her baby teeth and these are really dense. I usually find them abandoned after she gives up on trying to chew them. Will hold on to them until she has more teeth and try again when her teeth come in because she gets so excited and really wants them.
