    USE as a SUPPLEMENT

    By on Top 25 Contributor

While this is called a "bird food" it isn't nutritionally complete. It is an excellent supplement to mix into appropriate seed, as I've been doing for years for my 4 finches. I am glad to see Chewy carries this because the supplier I had been using went out of business

Only pellets my birds will eat!

    By on

It took me awhile to get my sparrow and parakeet to eat this. I had to make a pancake with it, and that did the trick! They look forward to this in the afternoon. I feed them their seed in the morning.

    Great food for Great Value

    By on

My two Finches made me the proud owner of eight finches. It’s so nice to be able to purchase a 10lb bag of their pellets. I get it at a great price through auto ship and I don’t have to watch sales and run out every week to get a two lb bag

My canaries would not eat it

    By on

I tried it alone and they didn’t touch it. I tried to mix it with other food and they pick everything out except it.

    ZuPreem FruitBlend Pellets

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I love these small pellets. Couldn't get my budgies and Cockatiels to eat pellets so I started mixing these in with their seed mix and they devour them.

    Bird pellets for pet birds

    By on

I have fed my parrots and canaries Zupreem Fruit Blend Flavor pellets (very small bird size in 10 lb.bags) for over 15 years. I have been ordering these bags from Chewy.com forbthe past couple years. The food is expensive but consistently excellent. My birds kive to very ripe old ages. But my last order (of 2, 10-lb bags) came and kne if the bags was not completely sealed properly at Zupreem processing plant. So when Chewy.com shipped it to me, there was about a 1/2 pound of pellets spilled into the box. Each bag costs $37.50 and is supposed to be sealed to keep the food fresh. Chewy needs to be more careful to inspect packaged foods and to NOT ship out packaged pet foods where the packaging I have fed my parrots and canaries Zupreem Fruit Blend Flavor pellets (very small bird size in 10 lb.bags) for over 15 years. Canaries love it

    By on

Zupreem FruitBlend extra small bird food is perfect for my canaries and finches. My canaries keep having babies! I know they're getting good nutrition and enough food, as opposed to seeds (which I do give them once in a while) because the empty seed hulls can hide how full/empty the feeder is. I also feed the Zupreem FruitBlend extra small to a Quaker parrot who lost his upper beak. This is fine enough that he can scoop it up with his lower beak, and I know he's getting good nutrition. For my other parrots, I buy Zupreem cockatiel sized pellets (even for my U2), all natural, so they can't pick out the colors they don't like! Highly recommend.
