Thank goodness this bag had no webs & worms in it. I specifically buy this for my baby doves. Great starter to introduce the little ones. They love it & its one of the best pallets in the market. Absolutely recommend.

    Fussy Finches!

By trishjw on Jun 19, 2021

After I ordered this from you a neighbor of mine that mostly feeds squirrels almonds!!, mentioned that the seed they--the finches--like is whitish grey and flat. The squirrels eat them. One of your competitors seems to have a few in their Best Garden Simply Birds seeds but I was trying to find something that I didn't have to gather up 80-90% of them and put out new ones. The finches on Thirteenth Street in my bird feeder were not so fussy. They and the white breasted sparrows ate anything I put in it. I watched a one-legged father teach his son how to eat from the feeder by demonstrating 2ce how to do it and when it kept hitting the glass instead it got popped in the head by daddy and after that he found the hole. I don't know where to go for whitish grey flat seeds instead. Other than feed the squirrels!! … more

    mixed reception of pellets

By birdowner on Apr 30, 2021

Got this for my parakeet and cockatiel. Parakeet has shown no interest and will eat around it, cockatiel will make a bunch of dust because he likes to break it apart. I now put the pellets in a separate cup so the cockatiel can make a pile of dust apart from the regular food.

    Perfect for little Parrots

By elle on Mar 19, 2021

We have a budgie and a rosey Bourke, both love this stuff and eat it readily. We actually have 7 birds, they all have their preferences, but the two little bitty parakeets definitely like this stuff

    Good parakeet food

By Tardis on Aug 10, 2020

I found this parakeet food to be really good for the birds, and they like it. I used to use the multi-colored food, but the birds would pick out certain colors and throw them out of the cage, making a big mess. They don't do that with the single color food.
