Hi, I was just wondering if this will cure a dogs ear infection, and is it better to buy with or without hydrocortisone?

This treatment is for acute and chronic inflammation of the external ear in dogs and cats caused by bacterial, viral and yeast infections. The Zymox Otic Pet Ear Treatment with Hydrocortisone, has added hydrocortisone which helps to provide relief from itching and inflammation.
Can this be used for other animals like rabbits ???

Was HOPING this would work

I did the 14 day on my senior cat as instructed due to chronic yeast, bacterial ear issues for 10 months now. She is allergic to steroids so she cannot use the meds from the vets. This seems like it worked then suddenly the issue came back. Going to try the Zymox Gold label as a final Zymox product.

Shepherds & ears.

I have 3 shepherds that occasionally get ear issues. I can tell when a bout is coming on because they shake their head often. A 7 day course of Zymox always takes care if the problem. I keep a bottle on hand so I can tackle the problem right away. It is good stuff, & saves me a vet visit.

Be careful

I used this product on my Shepard. It made his ears worse. His eyes swelled up and became Ill. He's better since I stopped using it but I need. Recommendation for a good ear cleaner.

clean ears!

I am thrilled with this treatment! I followed the directions on the bottle and I could tell it was working after 3 days. After using the prescribed 14 days my dogs ear is clean and she is back to normal! Great purchase!
