Hi, I was just wondering if this will cure a dogs ear infection, and is it better to buy with or without hydrocortisone?

This treatment is for acute and chronic inflammation of the external ear in dogs and cats caused by bacterial, viral and yeast infections. The Zymox Otic Pet Ear Treatment with Hydrocortisone, has added hydrocortisone which helps to provide relief from itching and inflammation.
I am looking for something to help my shepherds swimmer ear. Would this help?

This product aids in the treatment of Otitis Externa (swimmer's ear).
Can this be used for other animals like rabbits ???

Best ear treatment ever

I've used Zymox Otic previously, and found it just as effective this time. It is easy to use, doesn't seem to cause discomfort, and most importantly, works very well and very quickly.

clean ears!

I am thrilled with this treatment! I followed the directions on the bottle and I could tell it was working after 3 days. After using the prescribed 14 days my dogs ear is clean and she is back to normal! Great purchase!

Just right!

I use this ear treatment on one of my dogs because she has allergies. The veterinarian said that's what it was. So this is affordable and efficient. It really works. Her itching stops when I treat my dog with it. Is used as needed.

Works great!

First time ordering the Zymox Otic without hydrocortisone, and it works just as well. No odor to this product like some other brands have, and no mess. Use this on both our cats and our Shepherd, and it does the trick. Highly recommend this product, and Zymox products in general.

Awesome so far!

This stuff has saved my life! My beagle is super prone to yeast infections in his ear and the meds that the vet gives him never seem to cut it- they always come back. Rather than spending another $150 at the vet for treatment, I decided to give this a try. I've been using it for about a week and a half and the difference is amazing. He is scratching way less and the redness and brown gunk have gone down a lot. He doesn't like to have the bottle squirted directly in his ear, so I do have to put it on my finger and rub it in but it seems to be working well! I'm only giving it 4 stars at the moment because the infection is not totally healed, but I'm very hopeful!

Super Impressed

My Lab suffers from horrid ear infections in one ear. It is so bad that she is at the vet at least twice a month. Her vet suggested Zymox as an in-between. I was shocked at how well these work and how quickly. I opted to not get the hydrocortisone in case it interfered with her current medication. She went from miserable and having extremely red and sore ears to her happy self in 2 days!

Cat with chronic ear problem

I have a cat with chronic ear infections. She was constantly scratching. There was dark brown stuff in her ears. Ear cleaner did not help. I tried Zymox for a week. It worked! No more scratching.
