We have been ordering this litter from you for years. But over the last year it has been a hit or a miss. It can be one of two colors. If it is brown, it doesn’t help with smell. If the color is gray, it works. Lately it seems you just keep sending us the brown litter. I clean the litter box at least twice a day, sometimes more if needed. There is no way my house should smell this bad. I just changed the litter and the pans a few days ago and it smells like it’s been in there for weeks. Please only send us the good stuff. We bought some at another store recently and it was gray. Covered up any smell immediately. I don’t want to have to start buying from somewhere else but I will. Please fix this problem. The litter is too expensive to not work.

Scoops easy, clumps great, very little residue sticking to cats and getting on the floor. Overall great litter unless you have a nose. Straight out of the box something just smells off about this litter. Even after a few days of use by my cats and i can smell the litter box from across the room. And trust me, I scrub and clean out litter boxes every 8-10 weeks, so when I switched to this it was fresh clean boxes. I switched to this when Fresh Step was gone a few months back when Clorox had that data breach. I'm very happy to see that one back in stock because I can switch away from this.

Solved my litter problems

I just got my first cat ever in 12/2023 and I ended up with this litter after trying and absolutely hating Dr. Elsey's Unscented clay litter. Best switch I could've made, it solved all my previous litter problems wonderfully: it clumps fantastically, poop/pee don't stick at all to the box, and I can only smell the litter rather than what's been deposited into it. My only complaint I guess is that the litter is VERY fragrant, especially when you're refilling the box, but I'd rather choke myself smelling artificial floral scent than constantly being able to smell my cat's pee and poop until I scoop them out. I've been using this litter for about a month now and there's no way I'm going back to Dr. Elsey's, I'd only switch to something else if I could be convinced it's even better than this one (which I highly doubt)

I've used about 5 different brands and types of top tier kitty litter. This by far I'd the best out of all I have tried. By "the best" I am talking best value for the money. Also is the cleanest litter as well. As long as you scoop the box in the AM one time and the PM one time, you can make 4 inches of litter last 2 weeks.. 2 weeks and a day if your lucky!!!..lol. by far the best bang for the buck.. buy it try it and you can thank me later.. or your wallet can thank Mr later!!

Easy to Clean!

I switched over to this brand after trying a non-clumping brand. I hated the non-clumping since the pee would sink to the bottom and basically turned the litter into concrete. This brand, however, is really easy to clean as the litter is really fine granules. The pee clumps up well, and the lavender smell is pretty strong on the first pour but settles after. I highly recommend if you have a cat or two yourself since this is for a two-cat household.

Works Well with Litter Robot 4

I've been looking for a litter that doesn't stick to the sides and doesn't travel with my cats. I live in a split level house and my cats have a routine of using the bathroom and then making a beeline for my bed to take a nap. Not nice having litter on my bed. I got one of those big Petami waterproof blankets that drapes across my bed that takes care of that, but still, like eww. This litter does slide when the robot rotates. It doesn't stick to the side and my robot is a lot cleaner than the brand issued litter, and the recommended litter of Everclean extra strength nonscented. The pebbles are smaller so you may need to find another way of getting the litter out of their paws. Either way, this is the best so far. 4 stars cause it doesn't 100% solve the tracking, but it does handle the smell, dust, and sticking issues.

Worst litter we have used.

We switched to this trying to avoid dust issues. Have used Fresh Step for years and had noticed an increase in dust. This sounded perfect, low dust and convenience. First thing we noticed is it didn't clunp at all. Urine was just a large gooey puddle. We only have 2 cats and we clean box morning and evening. Basically our cats were Tracking three wet sticky puddles every time. The mess was unbelievable. Then there was the smell, it was terrible. No fragrance at all and I swear that the odors when cats used box were actually amplified. Could smell it through entire house. I made the mistake of buying 4 boxes at a time as per normal. It was so terrible and took forever to use up. NEVER AGAIN.

Packaging does not work!

Love Slide litter but will not be ordering it from Chewy again. Twice now, when I order 6 boxes at a time, it comes in 2 Chewy cartons. Although Chewy now wraps the litter boxes in plastic, they still break. We now have a mess to clean up when we try to open the Slide carton. Litter is between the bashed-in litter box and the plastic film and makes a big mess.

Smell ruins it

I wish this came in an unscented formula that was exactly the same otherwise. It doesn’t track too badly, it clumps super well, and it’s not a heavy litter so it’s easy to throw out when I am cleaning the box and replacing the litter. Unfortunately, I can’t get over the smell. It is overbearing and fills your house with that typical cat litter smell, I am not a fan.

Recently I was looking up the best litter for our Cat Litter automatic bot because the litter I have been using for 14 years had stopped clumping in the self cleaning Litter Box (I call it the Bot), The waste was sticking to the sides and was creating an odor, I was cleaning the bot daily instead of once a week. So as stated above I researched what would be the best litter for the Bot and it was recommended that the litter to use was “Arm&Hammer Slide litter for clumping”. I bought some and because I had just changed out the litter with the old stuff, I added some of the Arm &Hammer Slide with the old stuff. Right away I saw a wonderful change. I usually empty the litter in the about once a month, and now it is every couple months because I do not have the issues with clumping and the litter stays smelling fresh so there’s no odor from my cats doing their business. I just purchased my second box of Arm &Hammer Slide Litter, I love it! I have put the old litter away for emergency necessities if needed. Example would be if the company stopped making it. I would encourage any Cat owner to purchase this litter if you have a self cleaning litter box or just your standard box with a scooper and see for yourself how this stuff works. I love it!
