Pieces are too big. I wish the company would make them normal size!

I love Hill Science and thought this would be great for my 10 year old male cat but he wouldn't eat it. None of my 9 cats would eat it. But I don't know if it is because of the taste or the size of each pellet. No clue why they would make them big. They have a photo of 3 pieces on the front but they should add the words "actual size" right next to it. Anyway, I have to return it.

Garfield’s health

We had a cat with urinary crystals and he was in so much pain. When our current cat started to get older we wanted to prevent that. On top of that Garfield had an awful time with hairballs so we solved two problems with his food. It has been wonderful, and Garfield is having a wonderful life. He’s going on 11 years young.

Good for both my Seniors

These kibbles are huge and hard, but apparently delicious. My two seniors, one who needs careful UTI monitoring and one who has lost a lot of teeth, both dig into these.. It's amazing to me that my girl can chew these but apparently they are worth the trouble and they are big enough that they are easy for her to grab with those molars. This is an AutoShip item for our house

Large kibble

My 17 year old cat was very interested in the Hills Urinary Hairball dry food. I mixed it gradually, as directed, into his regular dry food. However, he had difficulty chewing the Hill’s kibble. The size of the Hill’s kibble was considerably larger than his regular kibble. I think he became frustrated with it being able to chew the larger kibble. After a week of mixing it with his regular kibble, I put a bowl of it out and his regular kibble. Again, he showed interest, tried unsuccessfully to eat it, and went back to eating his regular kibble.

Kibble is big

I wanted to upgrade the food quality for my 3 outdoor cats since they're getting older. I went with this because of the lower ash percentage. My effort has been rejected by all 3, Emi, Bootsie, and Broken. The only way they will eat is if I add wet food to it. I'm not sure why they don't like it. All I can figure is maybe the kibble is too big? My 2 boys are missing one of their fangs. I don"t know but I guess it's back to the cheaper food for now.

Science Diet for Cindy Lou

Cindy Lou is a 16 solid white matron that looks like she belongs on a teenage girls bed. She has long fluffy fur and is quite the queen. Science Diet has helped keep her active and healthy. She had a rough start but now lives the good life. Thank you Science Diet for giving her the nutrition she needs in her senior years.

Good food

Very healthy and cat loves the taste. I will continue to purchase as long as I am rewarded with an appreciation code to re-purchase. More spendy then common cat food so I will continue to give good reviews if treated likewise.

Cats refuse to eat

My two female cats are having issues eating this, lately both are pulling their hair before I even serve the food to them. One of the females is an outdoor cat and the oldest one is an indoor cat. They both act the same way. neither our male cat wants to eat this. I've been feeding them can. Its so frustrating after spending so much money on this large bag. Thank good ness that haven't had any uti issues in years.

Prevents urinary problems and hairballs

I have been feeding my cat Hill’s Science Diet for the past 7 years to prevent urinary stones. This food has worked beautifully. I also combine it with wet food in the evening to add additional flavor.

Hills Science Diet Urinary Hairball control diet food

This cat food has worked wonderfully in keeping my kitty healthy. My cat refused to eat the prescription cat food after a time. I started using the urinary hairball food, and Lizzie has done really well with no recurrence of her stones.
