My dog was eating the pellets Can this harm him? I took the litter box right away!
Answer by • Aug 29, 2018
This dog litter is made of recycled newspaper and wood pulp. While it is not recommended to allow your dog to eat it, know that there is nothing in this product that would be harmful if it is ingested.
It's fairly easy to remove the poop, but it's more difficult to tell which pellets have been peed on and separate them out from the clean ones in the litter box. Is the urine-soiled litter meant to be scooped out and removed daily, or completely changed out every few days?

Soiled litter should be removed and an equivalent amount should be added to replace it. The entire litter box should be changed and cleaned with a mild soap solution as needed or at least bi-monthly.
Does this product expand and break apart? Ive read pine shavings can expand if the dog eats it and cause digestive issues.
Answer by • Mar 28, 2018
This litter is formulated to keep its shape and absorb liquids while used the correct way, however it is not intended for digestion and there is no guarantee it won't expand in your pets stomach. Avoiding that at all costs is recommended.
