Can the flow be adjusted?

The flow rate for this filter is 300 gallon per hour and cannot be adjusted.
Is this compatible with the Hydor 200 watt inline heater? What size is the outtake hose?

The inner diameter of the Filstar hosing is 5/8 inch - this is true for all sizes of the Filstar canister filters.
Does this come with all media needed to start?

This filter includes (1) API Filstar XP-M, (2) 59 inch flexible tubes, (1) set of accessories (inlet , outlet tubes, gooseneck, suction cups), Illustrated instructions, (1) 30 ppi foam, Bio-Chem Stars superior biological filtration, size 6 superior resins activated carbon, (1) microfiltration pad.
How long does each filter size last?
