Reasonable price and decent ingredients

The Charlee Bear Nuggets (Shepherds pie) advertise all-natural ingredients, including beef and sweet potatoes. The nuggets are made with beef and sweet potatoes, as advertised, but they are the 10th and 11th ingredients, respectively. There are a lot of things before that on the list. The nuggets are a great size for training treats. Large enough to motivate my pups, but small enough that I don’t have to break them up for use in training sessions or worry about too many calories. They remind me of the old Captain Crunch Peanut Butter cereal in size and texture-wise. And, maybe most importantly, my dogs like them. While I would like them more if there were fewer ingredients/preservatives and not as much starch/filler, I would use them in my training treat rotation. The cost is about average for better quality treats, as well.

Maybe bigger would help

I was anxious to give Prince his new treat. As usual it looked wholesome but I was wondering how to go about giving a 90 pound dog a treat the size of a rice check

I was anxious to give Prince his new treat. As usual it looked wholesome but I was wondering how to go about giving a 90 pound dog a treat the size of a rice check. Prince takes food very carefully, never using his teeth so I placed it on his tongue like he prefers and watched as he walked over to the carpet and deposited it. This is usual behavior so I continued to watch him. He looked up at me and then walked away. I waited to see if he would return but he did not. Then I tried placing a few of them in a pile on the floor thinking that maybe he would be able to see or smell them better as a group. No luck. unfortunately my husband did not see them and stepped on them. I waited another day to catch him when he was hungry but he still dropped them out of his mouth and left them on the floor.

Charlee Bear Nuggets are a fun treat to use for training or just plain old snacks. Surprisingly, my German Shepherd/Husky cross didn't like them but our Beagle loves them. I like the small size, they fit perfectly in our Beagle's treat puzzle. I like their crunch, and their crispiness prevents them becoming messy. Finally, I was impressed with the amount of treats in the bag.

I have a 12-year-old Pomeranian and he is pretty picky when it comes to food and treats, so it's always a guessing game when I give him new stuff. But he LOVED these treats! These treats are small and not too hard so they were perfect for his small mouth! I love the minimal ingredient list and love how transparent the packaging is about ingredients, nutrition makeup, etc. Makes me feel good about what I'm giving him! I definitely will buy these again for him!
