I just got home from the vet. This supplement made my dog throw up blood!!!! $700 vet bill later just to find out that the vet could not find anything to cause it. She asked me what was different. We had been sprinkling it over his food for a few days. She asked us to bring it in so she could review the ingredients. She said that it's doesn't list what they use for flavor other "salmon flavor" and had an active ingredient that she does not recognize. She said it's a good chance that this supplement caused the violent bloody vomit. I had her throw it away. Never again!!!!
My doggy needs liver enzymes. This is the way to give it in the food so he doesn't notice. He can be a very picky eater.
I read reviews about this helping with dogs who take seizure medications, thought I’ll give it a try. She’s been taking this for about 2 weeks now. In the 2 weeks, we had gradually added it to her diet but now we reduced it to just 1 scoop as it’s causing her to have really soft poops and she’s constantly drinking water like she’s super dehydrated. After we take her out to potty, especially during the nights before bedtime, she would come back and pee on herself. She’s eight and is well potty trained. She hasn’t had an accident for years. But now, I honestly don’t know if I should continuing giving her this or stop at this point. I’m not sure if it’s a detox type of initial process, but for now, I’m not that fond of this product. Having to have to clean pee off your dog and floors every night is not fun.
Great product, it has helped our dog's liver numbers improve. Although it would be nice if it came in a tablet formula.
My vet recommended this product for my dog. She's on seizure medication and bloodwork revealed that the pills were causing some damage to her liver. I was concerned that she wouldn't like it on her food, because she is a very picky eater, but she loves this! I sprinkle it on her kibble and then add just a bit of water to settle the powder down so it gets mixed in. She eats every bit of it! Best of all, it her bloodwork shows improvement!
Love this product and love Chewy. I started buying this from another source but because I get the vast majority of my dog food and supplements from Chewy, I’m now ordering it from them. Both of my dogs have blood work regularly to monitor liver issues and the last two times since I’ve been using this product the ranges have been normal. Success!!! So happy I found this product!
We have seen such a difference in our dog, since he has been on this product. He has a problem with his liver enzyme levels. This is our third purchase. You have to look for the scoop. It settles toward the bottom. The vet tells us to continue what we’re doing due to the progress.
This is a hard tablet that I’m finding all over the house. I think I’ve given my dog her medicine but really she’s just spitting it out. Big waste of money.
I don’t know how much to give my dogs it says one scoop what scoop? A scoop can be anything. I don’t like the powder because it easily goes into my nostrils
MY DOG BLAZE HE DIED LAST NIGHT FROM KIDNEY DISEASE 2 WEEKS AFTER EATING THIS
