How does this attach? Is there a minimum depth of window sill required?

This perch requires a minimum of 2 inches for the windowsill to set on. It can be attached with an included Velcro strip.
Does this set up require any kind of screw/nails/etc? Any holes in the wall needed? Basically- is it renter friendly?

This perch is mounted by Velcro that is attached to the window sill with double-sided tape on the backrest.
