About Dog Palace

Dog Palace Premium Houses

Dog Palace premium insulated houses for small to extra-large dogs are easy to assemble with just a Phillips screwdriver. These dog houses are proudly made in the USA and include a 10-year manufacturer warranty for cracking and breaking. You can even pair them with Dog Palace heating products to make your best friend's house as cozy as your own!

Dog Palace Heater

The Palace Central Heater is exclusively designed for use in our larger houses, the Dog Palace, RB Palace and CRB Palace. They secure easily to the houses’ triangular window frames and feature a digital display you can control with a remote or your smartphone, when WIFI enabled. The Palace Floor Heater is designed to add warmth to Dog Palace’s smallest house, the DP Hunter.

For Comfort in All Types of Weather

Just as a warm blanket keeps you comfortable in winter, the insulation in these dog houses traps your dog’s natural warmth and provides a barrier against external temperature changes. The insulation works in all types of weather, slowing down the transfer of heat so your dog stays warm in winter and cool in the summer. This helps keep your best friend’s Dog Palace house a comfortable and climate-controlled space he can enjoy using year-round.

Dog House Features

Fully Insulated

Every panel, roof, floor, and door is vacuum packed with up to 4 inches of recycled non-toxic styro/EPS insulation.

Easy Pass-Through Door

The self-closing, easy pass-through door is light enough for a cat to use, and the bottom can be removed for training.

Raised and Sloped Floor

The raised floor is sloped and has a drain hole to make cleaning easy—just hose it down and water runs out.

Window Panel in Door

Self-storing window panels open and close without tools to preserve heat in winter or allow ventilation in summer.

What amperage breaker for circuit is required What does heater draw AMP wise

Answer by ChewyJan 11, 2021
2.5 amps is the most as the heating element pulls the max amp while it is on and it is on intermittently even though the fan runs full time to sample air temperature on the thermostat.

I actually have two questions... does the door allow the dog to freely move in and out or the house and close behind him? Where is the heater located?

Answer by ChewyNov 11, 2021
The Dog Palace has an easy pass-through door. The door is hinged in the middle, making it easier for dogs to push the door open. The bottom half of the door is also removable for the initial training process. The heater is located inside the house with a heater portal that allows for the heater's electrical cord to directly exit the rear of the house, helping to keep the dog from tripping over the cord.

How hot does the heater get?

Answer by ChewyNov 01, 2021
The heater range is 55 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Does this house have a door that can be locked? i need a house for my ducks at night. Thanks for your response!

Answer by ChewyJul 12, 2021
The door cannot be locked. The Dog Palace houses have been used for dogs, cats, ducks, monkeys, tortoises, rabbits, roosters and goats.

My dog loved it pretty quick although he's still intimidated by the full door. Personally, I found parts of it challenging to build by yourself, due to how tightly compressed each panel needs to be. I got it done, but not without breaking a sweat!

The heater was nifty, but requires the use of a dubious app. The heater, plus a nice thick bed, kept our dog warm through the winter though. Once the thing is built, it barely holds together. Any attempt to move it without being extraordinarily careful results in a full collapse so that you have to rebuild it. Thankfully the rebuild process doesn’t take too long, but it is still annoying. I suspect that outside of a larger shelter, like our dog had this winter, a passing wind would blow it to pieces. For the price I expected a much more robust structure. It probably only costs the manufacturer $10 to build these. If I was to buy one again, I might do so for: - $40 for the “palace” - $15 for the heater The price they’re charging for these right now is ludicrous.

Good Doghouse, Bad design for remote.

The doghouse is nice and sturdy. I put a WiFi temperature gauge in there and just with my dogs body heat, it tends to stay 10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature

The doghouse is nice and sturdy. I put a WiFi temperature gauge in there and just with my dogs body heat, it tends to stay 10 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. My only complaint is the heater is operated via remote. This means that if the remote is lost or misplaced you can’t adjust the heater or even turn it on. A better design would be buttons built onto the device to make a remote obsolete

I have had my dog houses for 10 years. They are awesome and sturdy. Great product I couldn’t be more pleased with this heated dog house! The structure is incredibly sturdy, built with durable materials that stand up well against rain, wind, and even heavy snow. The added heater keeps my dog warm, especially during colder months, making it the perfect year-round shelter. It was easy to set up, and I love the attention to detail in both insulation and stability. If you’re looking for a reliable, weather-resistant dog house with a heater to keep your pet safe and cozy, this is a fantastic choice!

Dog Palace toasty warm, well insulated. Great heater unit!

Insulated structure, strong heater unit, but whoever assembles this must have abilities.
