Pooch Selfie isn’t just a product, it’s an idea–to change pet selfies forever. The idea was born in the mind of Pooch Selfie’s dog-loving founder Jason Hernandez after he recognized that his own beloved pets had become such an irreplaceable part of his life. Like most people, his pets are an extension of his personality and they deserve to be represented in the pictures he takes to capture the events of his life. Selfies are quickly becoming the dominant form of interpersonal communication in the world today, but dogs aren’t always quite as cooperative as people when it comes to staying still for the camera. The Pooch Selfie solves this problem by helping dogs focus on the nearly irresistible toy mounted on top of the smartphone.

As Pooch Selfie has grown into a successful start-up, they've partnered with charitable causes that directly benefit animals, and a portion of every sale is donated to animal rescues and shelters. Each donation goes to the preservation of animals that will go on to become beloved pets, family members and the stars of many selfies to come.
