What is the best way to clean pet apparel?

To clean the costume hand wash cold only. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Lay flat to dry.

How do I measure my pet for this item?

To measure your pet’s body length, measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail; measure the neck by carefully measuring the circumference of the pet’s neck leaving room for two fingers; to measure the chest, measure the widest part (around the pet’s belly).

Tip: get lots of treats and a human buddy to help keep your pet still while measuring and write down each measurement to easily compare to the size chart!

My pet is between sizes, which size should I order?

For the best fit, match the size dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

Will this fit a great dane?

For the best fit, we recommend measuring your pet and matching your pet's measurements as closely as possible to the sizing chart. To measure your pet's body length, measure the base of the neck to the base of the tail. To measure the neck girth, measure around your pet's neck leaving room for two fingers and to measure chest girth, measure your pet's chest around the widest part. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two. For the complete sizing chart, you may view the photo below or click the “Size” tab, next to the “Instructions” tab, just under the product photos.

Does this use velcro straps to secure around the dog? Or is it am elastic?

Can a harness be used underneath for a leash, or can the leash only be connected by a collar when wearing the costume?

This costume doesn’t restrict the use of a harness or collar and leash. We recommend making sure the leash attachment on your harness will not be obscured by this costume.

Libby the Hot Dog

I love this costume. We purchased the fries last year after Halloween and just had to have the hot dog to go with. I read all the reviews which had varying comments on size. The costumes were not very expensive so I bought and XL & XXL for my 55lb Labrador. she is wearing the XL and it fits perfect. Also note that the quality is much better than expected.

Fits perfectly

The bright colors and soft plush of this costume make it perfect for a playful pup! It's light weight and Velcro under the belly and around the neck so is sure to fit small dogs of all sizes. It fit my 10lb and 16lb terriers.
