How long do they stay fresh after being defrosted (kept in the fridge)? Can you defrost more than 1 day at a time?

It is recommended to keep frozen until ready to use. Defrost your pet's daily portion by thawing it in a covered container in the refrigerator overnight or for approximately 4 to 6 hours. If your pet does not consume all the food presented within 30 minutes, discard any leftovers.

Can I mix this with kibble 50/50??

You can mix Instinct raw and kibble. Add raw as often as you’d like. You don’t have to feed a full raw diet to reap the raw benefits. In fact, studies show that adding as little as 20% raw can reduce the risk of skin allergies. Many pet parents rotate between raw and a kibble-based food or top their pet’s kibble with either frozen or freeze-dried raw. Just remember to be cautious of overfeeding if you are topping a pet’s existing meal with raw.

CAN this be served alone as a meal?

The Frozen Raw Grain-Free Cage-Free Chicken Patties meet AAFCO standards and can be fed as a complete diet to all ages and sizes of dogs, except large breed puppies (puppies that will be 70 pounds or more as an adult).

False advertising on quantity in bag

I'd give this a full 5 out of5 stars because my dogs love them, but on SEVERAL occasions, there have been only 23 patties in a bag, NOT the 24 annotated right on

I'd give this a full 5 out of5 stars because my dogs love them, but on SEVERAL occasions, there have been only 23 patties in a bag, NOT the 24 annotated right on the front of the bag. It's to the point where when I first open a new bag, I have to inventory it and count how many patties are in there. At first I thought I was losing my mind because as the bag was getting empty I'd be short a patty (or two!) when distributiong among my dogs, but nope; Instinct is shorting me. For the price, I expect Instinct to deliver as promised.

These are okay
