Why aren’t you supervising your dogs?
By Ruben on Jan 9, 2021
The amount of bad reviews complaining that their dogs destroyed this are disconcerting. My question to those reviewers: Why aren’t you supervising your dogs? I think this deserves 3 stars but I’m giving 5 in the hopes of balancing out the unfairly low ratings. I would never for the life of me label this size as “large.” It’s way, way smaller than it looks in the pictures (my bad for not reading the measurements). Overall, it serves its purpose. It sticks firmly to nonporous surfaces and gives my pup an enriching way to eat a special treat. The downside is that it’s so tiny that even when frozen he cleans it in about 8 minutes.

flimsy, he ripped it apart
By camsmom on Jan 9, 2021
To be fair, my golden retriever is a strong chewer but this was much thinner than I expected. I had the same experience another reviewer did. He loved licking the peanut butter but then he pulled it off the floor and ripped a piece of it off. It was a good idea but very thin, easily destroyable material. Also for size large, in my opinion it was small. This would be better for a small dog who doesn’t chew everything.

Stop barking
By corgi on Jan 4, 2021
Purchased lick lick pad to help distract 5 year old corgi from barking when doorbell or phone rang. I spread a bit of baby food beef on it and it worked great. However he licked the meat off and proceeded to shred the pad. I got about 2 weeks use out of it and had to throw it out. I was afraid he would ingest/swallow some of it. It was a very flimsy material. The concept was a good idea, but the product was poor quality. I need to find a better one.

Flimsier than expected
By KyMae on Jan 19, 2021
This works fairly well if not frozen. Tons thinner than I expected, which I supposed helps it stick to smooth surfaces. Warps and won’t stick to anything when frozen. This means it doesn’t last long as I can’t freeze food to it. You’ve got to take it away the second they finish or it will be quickly demolished by a chewing puppy!

Licking good!
By tsd26 on Jan 3, 2021
Our dog trainer suggested getting this for our dog as he is a big time licker. No allergies, just boredom we think. Anyway smearing peanut butter on it for an after dinner treat keeps him pretty busy. Easy care too. Just pop it into the dishwasher.

3 month old Shih Tzu
By Kira on Jan 22, 2021
Works well for our shih tzu during bath time and moments when we need him to calm down. We take it away immediately when he’s finished and starts chewing it so that he won’t destroy it.

worst purchase EVER
By bruno on Dec 12, 2020
This is probably the worst quality lick mat I’ve ever seen. The point is to have concave holes so that the dogs can lick into to keep busy. This mat has convex mini dots. Does NOT stick to ANY surface and flaps around like a piece of flimsy paper. Do NOT waste your money!!!

Worked great
By Amber on Dec 2, 2020
Tried this out today while trimming my dogs nails, an activity he usually HATES. He still didn't enjoy getting his nails trimmed but this product distracted him enough that we got it done quickly and without any problems. I can't wait to try this for bath time

The dogs loved it
By Eileen on Oct 9, 2020
I had hoped to find a "Lickimat"... but they are sold out in my store. I found this pad, and it holds the peanut butter great and the dogs loved it. My only issue is that it doesn't have suction pads on the back to stick to a wall for when I'm clipping nails. My guess is it might stick to wet tile for a bath, but I haven't tried that yet.

poor quality
By Capone on Oct 31, 2020
This lick mat is very thin and flimsy. After putting peanut butter on it just once the edges were ripped just by my pup picking it up and taking it to the next room to devour. I was able to use it twice before I had to throw it away.
