What's a good size magnet for a 55 gallon aquarium?

The Small can be used for up to 30 gallons, the Medium can be used for up to 125 gallons and the Large can be used for up to 350 gallons.

The magnet is strong and will reconnect after going around a corner. I really like the scraper attachment. It works really well.

Does not work as advertised

The magfloat develops a suction against the glass and cannot be moved to clean the glass. Terrible design.

Great accessory to have if you own an aquarium

I used my daughter’s to clean my aquarium glass and was so impressed that I bought my own. It does a great job scraping off algae from the aquarium glass.

Works great!

This thing works so good! After each use, I take it out of aquarium, clean it and let it dry, so it doesn't fall apart. I highly recommend this product!

It's safe and won't scratch glass

Had these for around 20 years and it beats a razor blade for getting algae off the sides of the tank. I've cut the silicone on the sides of the tank with razors

Had these for around 20 years and it beats a razor blade for getting algae off the sides of the tank. I've cut the silicone on the sides of the tank with razors and caused leaks and scratched the glass. This won't do that. I don't even take it out of the tank. I just push it in a corner when I'm done. It reminds me to take it across the glass in passing. When the inside scrubby pad wares out you can take it off and replace it with a green scrubby you use for dishes. Just don't use the one you've used for dishes. That might kill your fish. Use a new one and cut to size. They last long but after some years it will need to be replaced. The magnets will start losing power to connect. Buy one. You won't be sorry.

I always thought this was one of the best items to come along for aquariums. I had my last one for YEARS!!!! Well, my dog grabbed it off the aqua glass one day and

I always thought this was one of the best items to come along for aquariums. I had my last one for YEARS!!!! Well, my dog grabbed it off the aqua glass one day and chewed it up!! Time for a new one. I got this medium MAG-FLOAT in February of 2021 and as I was using it a few months ago, I noticed glue streaks on my glass!! I took it off and saw that the felt was coming off!! This is so wrong. Not even a year. I'm going to ask for a refund. Other than this, I love Chewy.com and use auto-ship every month.
