The fresh meat, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in the GO! SOLUTIONS, NOW FRESH, GATHER and SUMMIT Original recipes are sourced from North America (as close to the production facility as possible) except for the venison and pasture-raised lamb, which is sourced from New Zealand and Australia. Now Fresh trusted network of farmers, ranchers and producers all must meet their strict health, safety and quality standards. The temperature used to cook pet food is dependent on the recipe and the ingredients used. To ensure food safety and/or adequate cooking of ingredients, the starting temperature of 194 degrees Fahrenheit or 90 degrees Celsius used in their extrusion process is lower than the typical temperature used in baked pet food.

Now Fresh refers to the fact that this line utilizes only 100% fresh meats and oils in the recipes. Now Fresh don't use any meat meals or rendered products in their recipes, so it is much less processed than many other traditionally made foods.
