Pretty disappointed

I was so excited to get this bird bath after weeks of looking, but I'm going to have to return it. First, the height measurement is to the top of the stem and does not include the bowl or ornament. The measurements on the Chewy website did not clarify. It is 35.5 inches from the bottom of the base to the top of the bowl. Second, the bowl appears shallower and wider at the bottom in the images on Chewy than in reality. The bottom of the bowl is only 7.5 inches across so there's not much room for more than one or two birds at a time. Third, the bowl is too deep and would hold to much water. I would have to dump it out after a good rain and I live in Florida. Fourth, it's top heavy so unless you have it on a stable, hard surface, it topples. The height plays a role in that, too.

This is truly a beautiful object.Very heavy and sturdy, however, for some reason, the birds don't really like it.I tried it as a bird bath and maybe it's a little deep for my small birds.So I switched it to a feeder, and they seemed to like it a lot better that way, even though I have five other feeders hanging up.

It is perfect in the corner of my back yard where it gets partial sun during the day and the water does not get too hot. I have already received compliments on it from neighbors.
