Does the two-story tree allow for easy stepping between levels? Is the bottom tree ledge larger than the top tree ledge so cats can easily step up or step down? Or, would a cat have to jump all the way to the second level in order to access it?

Perch 1 has a diameter of 22 inches and Perch 2 measures 18 inches in diameter.

The description says the base is 24”x24” but in the photo it looks rectangular. Is it really square?

The medium-sized tree stands approximately 48 inches tall. The distance from the floor to the first shelf is about 14 inches, while the distance from the floor to the top shelf will be approximately 28 inches.

How do you keep the leaves clean?

We recommend using a brush or a damp cloth with mild soap to clean soiled areas. Also, please consider that the perches and base are made of wood and should be cleaned accordingly.

sturdy

it's cute. looks good and appears to go with any decor. one Cat liked it for maybe all of a week or two but that could be because i sprayed some catnip on it

it's cute. looks good and appears to go with any decor. one Cat liked it for maybe all of a week or two but that could be because i sprayed some catnip on it a few times and have not done again in awhile. And the other one loves it. half the time you can't find her she hides so well in it. would i recommend this? Yes. easy to put together. quite sturdy appears to be durable and would last quite some time, depending on the cat or cats using it.

Its a decent tree, my cats like it as much as a traditional cat tree. However when I was putting it together I had to physically cut parts of it so it'd actually screw on to itself. Wasn't necessarily easy, but doable. Bright side they love the fake grass base and it doubles as inritchment hiding treats in it for them to "forage" for.

The holes for the branches were mostly not drilled all the way through

Since the holes didn't go all the way through, I took my drill and tried to finish them but the cheapness of the material caused it to shred, making the holes too

Since the holes didn't go all the way through, I took my drill and tried to finish them but the cheapness of the material caused it to shred, making the holes too big with the result that the branches are always falling out. The cats don't like it, either; I have yet to see anyone sitting on it. It's really not as cute as the picture.

Our cat crew love perching and peeking through the branches. It's sturdy enough that a 13 pound cat jumping up doesn't rock the structure. Visitors initially mistake it for a big house plant! It gets 4 instead of 5 stars because the fake grass covering the base sheds quite a lot. Green carpet would perhaps be a better choice for this indoor tree.

Not for big cats

My 17 lb. senior Maine Coon mix will get on the lower level with the enticement of a treat, but he can’t turn around, so he usually just keeps going around and off

My 17 lb. senior Maine Coon mix will get on the lower level with the enticement of a treat, but he can’t turn around, so he usually just keeps going around and off the other side. The angle from the lower shelf to the upper shelf is too tight for him to get up on it, especially given how little space he has on the lower shelf. It looks great, was easy to assemble, and is stable, but it’s just too small for my big boy.

My boy is always trying to sneak outside so I thought I’d bring the outdoors inside lol I took out one set of leaves to make it easier for him to get in and out but he loves it!

Cute but unsafe for crazy cats

I set this up a few months back. It looked so cute and my cats have really enjoyed running around and playing in the leaves. One of my cats never bites the leaves,

I set this up a few months back. It looked so cute and my cats have really enjoyed running around and playing in the leaves. One of my cats never bites the leaves, however the other was always chewing on the sides of the leaves. I never thought he would actually eat one but he threw up a leaf the other day so I have decided to take the leaves off of the tree, thankful it ended with him getting the leaf out and not any other way. The tree now looks sad and I will be replacing it with a different tree.

Poorly Boxed: Broken & Missing Pieces

I don't know how it is usually boxed, but the tree arrived with no protection, the branches were placed in their holes with the plastic pieces that make it fit snug

I don't know how it is usually boxed, but the tree arrived with no protection, the branches were placed in their holes with the plastic pieces that make it fit snug which let to them being bent and then breaking the plastic pieces. Two plastic pieces to make the branches snug are just completely missing. The metal rods were loose in the box, one had tape wrapped around it but was not stuck to anything so it was just sliding around which I guess is what made it scratch or scuff the edges. I am so disappointed, I was so looking forward to this, and could imagine that if they took actual care to ship it and secure all those plastic pieces, this would have been a joy.

It's fun for them Once they're on it, laying down, they can easily hide and then pounce. If I had room I'd get another for the other room. I definitely recommend this tree!
