Feed your furry friend the easy way with Pawple Automatic Dog & Cat Pet Feeder! This convenient feeder holds up to 20 cups of kibble and is designed with a bright LCD display panel where you can program portion size and precise mealtimes. Record your personal message for your pet to let her know when it’s time to eat. Simply fill the food compartment, lock the cover and program the feeder! These things are amazing!! I bought three, two cats and a dog, they used to constantly try to steal each other's food but the these allow you to record a custom message. I have them all set up, in different sections of the house, calling each pet by name so they know exactly whose is whose and peace has been restored! Lol Also, I set them all to distribute food 10 minutes before my alarm so the first greeting to them in the morning isn't them yelling for food, but cuddles! The only thing is the dish is kind of on the small side. For cats and small dogs it's perfect, but I have a Great Pyrenees whose needs a little more. My solution is more frequent smaller meals for him and he's still a happy camper.
I purchased two of these in 2020 when we got a second cat. Our first kitty was free fed for twelve years without any issues but our new addition created the need for scheduled feeding times. The little one tried to break into these many times without success and then became used to scheduled timing and quit trying to break it open. My only complaint is that they don’t keep time well and the clocks need to be reset about once a month to get the two feeders back in line. Not by any means the worst problem, especially after three years of use. This was a great investment for our little furry family and I would recommend this feeder!
I purchased this feeder a few months ago and within a short period of time, he's figured out that if he kicks the feeder a couple pieces of kibble will fall out. Also if the feeder tips over there will be food EVERYWHERE the top does not secure well so now I have to tape the lid down. Also theres no way to turn off the voice recording that plays for meal time. And good luck getting the portion size correct, that took my a while and with the use of a kitchen scale. This was supposed to be my big helper but has become more of just a headache. I'm still thinking about going back to his regular elevated bowls, if I can't figure out a way for chance to not constantly tip the feeder over. Oh and if you move the feeder always remember to flip the SWITCH to OFF otherwise you'll have kibble EVERYWHERE!!! Since the time purchased this, I've been finding dog food everywhere. The machine has either tipped over and spilled everything everywhere. Not happy. Sorry for the long rant review LoL.
We love it, the cats love it. We put it on a little platform to make it a bit higher from the ground, (more cat friendly) but it’s great. The flat eating tray prevents whisker fatigue and the device is easy to use.
Bought in Feb of 22. Now April of 23. Stopped working. Called Chewy and got the corporate blah blah blah, it is over a year and there is nothing we can do. Bye Bye chewy!
I got this to dispense food in the morning so I don’t have to get up. Works well for that. My complaint is my cat spends all day sticking her whole arm into the dispenser area to get more food. She’s able to get extra kibble bite every time. Aside from not wanting her to overeat, I don’t want her to get hurt. So I like the feeder but I wish it weren’t possible for my cat to get extra food.
Bought beginning of 2022 will no longer power on just gonna go back to putting food in the bowl the old fashioned way
I bought this feeder for my chocolate lab so that I can get him put on a regular feeding schedule. It’s difficult to have a consistent feeding schedule since I work 12 hour shifts a couple nights per week. I noticed when the food is dispensed food gets stuck through the propeller. Only 1/2 cup of food is dispensed regardless of the portion size I set the feeder to. This is not designed for large dogs like it specifies, I have requested to return this since I am unable to use it for my large dog.
We've been using this auto feeder now for 5 months and couldn't be happier! It's easy to set up and program. You can set up to 4 meal times if you want, and choose different serving for each meal time! It plugs into the wall and there is a battery compartment for D batteries. It's perfect for people who travel, are away from home for long work days, or people who have pets that need portion control. Our 2 cats share this feeder. The bowl is a decent size. The pressure of the food coming out isn't too crazy fast, so no mess. But sometimes I do find that I need to shake out some food into the bowl because our cats wont. Best purchase ever! Highly recommend.
11/4/2022 my family and I went through an unfortunate accident. A tree crashed through our ceiling and my cat bolted. Everyone is okay and my cat had been found 9 days later. Being that we lived in the woods, we have a lot of raccoons. While my cat was gone a neighbor left the feeder outside to try and coax him back home. A gang of 12 raccoons tried and failed to break into the feeder the entire 9 days it was outside. 5/5 stars and it still works.
