This feeder can hold up to 20 cups of dry food. If filled to capacity and using approximately 1/2 cup daily, then it would feed close to 40 days.

The clock keeps running late

I have multiple feeders to meet the need of my cats. The cat on this feeder is on prescription food. To avoid this cat eating others’ non-prescription food or having others eat his food, I need the feeders to be on clock accurately. I’ve had this feeder more than 2 years. Its clock keeps running late after a period of time. It used to take a month to be late for a minute or two. Now it gets worse. I set this feeder two minutes ahead of time yesterday but this morning the clock was one minute behind. It’s very inconvenient. I wouldn’t recommend it if you need the clock to be on time as I do.

I have had this feeder for a little over four years. I initially chose it because I liked the aesthetics compared to other feeders. I was never interested in the voice recording and have never used that feature. It has always been reliable. If it becomes unplugged it will still operate with the batteries. It is easy to use. The reason I am finally writing a review is that while I was out of the country a raccoon tried to destroy this feeder three times. So three different times the raccoon pushed it over, rolled it around and tried to break into it. (I had friends setting the feeder back up) the raccoon was never able to open the top hatch. He basically was only able to eat the food that had already been dispensed. Although the feeding tray easily comes off that is a good thing because nothing was damaged. When I returned home, I wiped the feeder off and it looks and is functioning like new. This thing is bullet proof.

Bought this machine a few years back--I've been so happy with my purchase. It saves me having to wake up to feed my cat, or be home by a certain time to ensure she gets to eat. I know it will always go off, and it holds so much food--plenty for a smaller cat that doesn't eat as much. I can usually go a few weeks on one fill. I like it best for when I travel and have people watching her. It makes me feel better knowing they have less to think about, and she gets to maintain her routine. I plug it in (rather than rely on batteries), but it has really held up across several moves. Would recommend for anyone who feeds dry food.

Needed somethng the racoons couldn't get into plus hold enough food that we didn't need somebody over everyday to feed after a recent trip. The tiny buttons were hard for me to set so I had to get a younger tech savvy person to set it-arthritic hands can't hold 2 buttons at once. Once set easy to turn off feedings as necessary to save food. I don't miss the bedning and scooping 2 x per day either....you'll be getting more ordes for this for sure.

Tried a few different feeders. This is by far the best!

Works great, such a relief - and a tip if it stops working

This thing is great and the reason I said it’s such a relief is you don’t realize what a burden it takes off of you especially if you have a three times a day eater

This thing is great and the reason I said it’s such a relief is you don’t realize what a burden it takes off of you especially if you have a three times a day eater until it stops working and you have to go back to remembering to feed your dogs three times a day. It’s such a relief to just have this going on in the background especially if you’re a busy work from home person. The tip I wanted to give is that unfortunately After a vigorous cleaning session, I put it upside down to dry and I think the electronics got wet. It didn’t work for three or four days and I was debating Do I order a new one or what do I do and I had just about given up on it when miraculously on day five it started working again. I think a little bit of water got into the control panel when it was upside down And by some miracle it started working again, so if anybody’s coming here to read any tips or reviews because yours stopped working -because maybe you got it a little bit wet- I am here to offer help that it will dry out with patience and be fully workable again .
