Smell Weird

Unfortunately these pads smell very bad once wet with pet urine. I don’t understand why. I had to go back to generic adult pee pads with no smell.

My 18 year old cat can no longer get in the litterbox due to arthritis. He actually was trained and learned from the dogs to go to the door to go outside to go to the bathroom. He prefferd this rather than going in the box. He's also clicker trained to use pads consistently at night at front and/or back door.
