My dog has a torn leg ligament and is missing her daily walk. She was apprehensive at first when I was putting her in the carrier. Once we started walking, she loved it! She prefers the front carry over the back pack carry. She seems bothered by ultimately moving backwards if it is used as a backpack. I would prefer that it flip somehow so that she could look over my shoulder.

Versatile !

Bow wow! My (newest) addition, a 13 lb chihuahua dangles and seems fine. I discovered it can be used as a backpack too when my guy isn't in it. (We walk with my bigger rescue and Little Guy seems to tire more quickly, so I carry him then.) I prefer the front "swaddle" when he's in it so I can see him. I am slightly concerned about his comfort level (4.75 STARS) in the groin, but he doesn't seem to mind as long as he's close to me. It is made well in seams, zippers, and stitching. I like the adjustable straps, too; it took me a few times to get the fit right for me. When he's not in it, I carry the water bottle and a few supplies in a separate bag within the carrier. I don't recall if instructions came with it, but if so, I thought they could be improved as far as securing the dog, using the strap/hook inside of the carrier, and perhaps safety guidelines. (I cannot locate instructions now; I would not have thrown them out.) Overall, this is a nice product. Thank you.
