They may look very cool, but they’re prone to leaks due to bad plumbing design on the filter. I had one of these and it was 3 years old had never been moved or touched since it was hooked up and one day I woke up to a house full of water The entire bottom of it cracked wide open And as you could see, that’s quite the drastic mess because I had 80 gallons of water between the tank and some all over my house And they refused to warranty their product saying that somehow I must’ve damaged it yet. It sat there for more than three years with nothing more thana filter change in miraculously just decided to explode one day. When I originally bought it, I was concerned because the plexiglass is very thin, but ithad decent reviews. I tend to think those were the ones built in the 90s and early 2000s cause the new models Are extremely flimsy. I would recommend by another brand and check the thickness of the plexiglass. These ones are barely a quarter inch thick to hold 40 gallons of water? I thought it was a bad idea and found out the hard way I was right.
