Love it!

I bought 5 of them last Spring. Worked great for my silkies to have a quiet place to go broody when leveled out. My larger birds will lay their eggs in them, but wont use them to hatch chicks. IMO, they work best with smaller birds. However, I do appreciate the clean eggs from the big girls, and don't have to root around the pen as much looking for them.
easy to put together, and should work well
The chickens aren't using it yet, and I need to add bedding to it for them. But they have been interested in it's presence. I think some bedding and a dummy egg
The chickens aren't using it yet, and I need to add bedding to it for them. But they have been interested in it's presence. I think some bedding and a dummy egg and we'll be on our way to switching to a new laying spot. The instructions were good, and the box was easy to put together. All the parts were there with options for a couple different ways to use it (hanging vs. free standing). It seems very sturdy and like it will last a long time.
The concept is good but the hole is too large leaving them feeling exposed....
so the chickens didn't want to be in it. They actually chose to lay under a bush next to it instead. I even put fake eggs in the nest to try and coax them in but

Many broken pieces when taking out of box.
I don’t even think I can make this work with so many broken pieces, especially this tab.
