Hanging Cat Scratcher
Our Tux was clawing at walls and not on his cat tree where he is supposed to. We tried bribing with treats but it only worked on occasion. We bought the hanging scratcher, hung it on a wall that he seemed to scratch often (using a command strip) and we are very happy to report that he is using it .
vertical scratching
Overall I love the idea of this product. Would I buy it again? Probably not. It doesn’t stay in place at all when my cat scratches so she did not initially like it. However, if I put a command strip on it to keep it in place she loves it. I could use a command strip and replace cardboard scratches for much less. On the plus side it’s helped with couch scratching!
My cat likes this Cat Scratcher
When I received this Cat Scratcher, I just took it out of the shipping box and placed it on my bed, while I was showing Sweetie her box of goodies. Within a minute she was on top of it, scratching. It never made it to any door knob in our home. She has stopped by for a scratch, daily, so far.
Cat Enjoys It
My cat didn't care about this when it was actually hanging from the door (and honestly that seems like it wouldn't work great, as it would be swinging around...) but he loved it when I just laid it flat on the ground. Don't think the catnip really does much but this cardboard is thicker than other brands, which is nice. Took him awhile to scratch up both sides.

My 2 cats love this thing - however, hanging on doorknob it moves and they won't use it, so I laid it on the floor/carpet and they scratch on it all the time. They're happy, so I'm happy!

My cat loves these
My cat loves these scratching boards. I was getting him the kind that lay flat and he used them over and over until there wasn't much left. This time i got the hanging one and he was thrilled. He loves to stretch and scratch and was using my window sill or fireplace brick. This is much better for all of us.
Cat didn't care about it at all
Bought this to stop my cat from scratching up the wood pannels on the walls. Cats completely ignored it and decided the wall is a better scratching post.
