Description

Berry Balance is a natural nutritional supplement providing your pet with cranberry and vitamin C. It's specially formulated for pets prone to struvite crystals and bladder infections, as it's designed to promote an acidic urine. This supplement should only be used if the urine pH of your pet is too alkaline, so it is best used with Solid Gold's Urine pH Test Strips so progress can be closely monitored.

Key Benefits

  • Helps balance urinary tract pH, promoting acidic urine for pets prone to developing an alkaline urine
  • Dissolves struvite crystals in alkaline urine and helps prevent bladder infections
  • Contains natural cranberry and blueberry extract, rich in antioxidants to support and maintain a healthy urinary tract and immune system. These superfoods also contain proanthocyanidins that can help prevent adhesion of bacteria to the bladder and urinary tract wall
  • Rich in Vitamin C (absorbic acid) for promoting overall health and wellness
  • All natural ingredients, free of chemical preservatives

  • My mini poodle loves it!

    By on

My mini poodle had a large Struvite bladder stone dissolved with the Hills s/d diet and antibiotic to treat the UTI. I now give her regular food( Wellness Kibble and frozen raw food ) I add the Berry Balance to the food on top and she attacks it as if it was her last meal. No problems with diarrhea or GI distress. The urine ph is now acidic. I am hoping that with the Berry Balance and increased water intake , we can prevent further stones . So far so good!

  • Cat will eat this

    By on

Since Snoopy is being so finicky and not eating his prescription (UTI) food and loosing weight, our Vet told us we could try feeding him whatever he likes, but to add a Vitamin C supplement to help with urinary crystals... so I saw a review on this supplement and am adding it to his food. He eats his food with 1/8 tsp of this grainy powder in it, so in my book... it's a keeper! I can't give it 5 stars because I really don't know if it will help him or not. Just going on the advice from his Vet.

The Solid Gold Berry Balance has definitely worked and is a much better option than the terrible prescription "food" they wanted him to eat. We are very happy with this product and love doing business with Chewy!!!

  • Loves it

I mix with my pugs dry food and add some water. He eats it in his food. I think it really helps as he had crystals and full blockage twice, now we do prescription food and this and he has not had any issues since.

  • Turned her nose up

My dog didn't care for the smell / taste of this and wouldn't touch it. I have to mix it with something else to hide it. Disappointed

  • Solved Cat Crystals

    By on Top 50 Contributor

My 2 female senior cats were diagnosed with struvite crystals. I started mixing this into their wet food (I feed different brands, Wellness, Halo, Blue). Everyday for a few weeks I mixed the recommended amount into their food along with a little water to create a gravy. They ate it up and NO crystals.

  • Got for a precautionary, solved the burnt grass.

    By on

We got this for our female golden who pants alot. We thought it could be due to a UTI so wanted to give this a try. It didn't solve the panting, but it did solve her burning spots in our grass when she pees. So if you're looking to balance the PeeH (ph - lol) and solve your grass burning, give it a shot.

  • My 14 week old Golden puppy had a UTI issues

    By on

My 14 week old Golden puppy had a UTI issues and her breeder recommended this product. She had been on antibiotics a week before this product arrived, so I can't be really sure if the antibiotic or Solid Gold did the trick, or a combo of both, all I know is that Allie's infection issues are behind her and all is now well. I will definitely keep this on hand!

  • My cats will eat the food with this product sprinkled over it.

I use this product, and other similar to it in the past, to prevent urinary problems. I haven't had any such problems with any of my 20 cats and feel that the supplement has prevented problems. And the all eat the food with this powder, and similar ones, on it.

  • This product keeps my cat happy and healthy!!

My male cat developed blockages at 1 1/2 years of age due to producing struvite crystals and after two emergency trips to the vet (both on Sundays ugh!!) I decided he needed to have a urethrostomy :(. Milo is now going on 8 yrs. He was fine for several years, then he started leaving blood-tinged urine spots on floor, I think to let me know he was having an issue. I gave him Pet Alive UTI Free which cleared them up quickly but I eventually realized it was sometimes not infection, but the crystals, which he had to have still been producing, though he no longer blocked up, that was causing the blood in urine from irritation of UT. My goal is to keep him away from antibiotics which is the go to solution for most vets, and help him be as healthy as possible. He is a beautiful boy with a glossy black coat, and eagerly eats these natural products as I think even HE knows that is what is best for him! Wish I knew then what I know now as I most likely could have avoided the surgery, but we all have to learn from our experiences. If anyone has male cats, I think it would be wise to have this product on hand and if used immediately upon first signs, vet visits can be avoided. I also LOVE doing business with this GREAT company!! … more
