Other than Bettas, what type of fish are recommended for use with this tank?

Some fish that are suitable for a 5 gallon tank include Betta Fish, Dwarf Puffers, Celestial Pearl Danios, Bumblebee Goby, Sparkling Gourami, Endler’s Livebearers, Least Killifish, Norman’s Lampeye Killifish, Crystal Red Shrimp, and Red Cherry Shrimp.
is this a good tank for goldfish? if so, how many?

This aquarium kit is not recommended for goldfish. In aquariums, adult common goldfish, comets and shubunkins should have at least 20 gallons of water per fish, while adult fancy goldfish should have at least 10 gallons per adult fish.

Can you grow live plants properly with the LED lights included?

LED lighting does not promote plant growth. Fluorescent lighting is recommended planted aquariums.
