Does this item have the option to adjust the flow? I know betta fish don't like a strong current in their aquarium and I'm looking for a good one for my new 10 gallon aquarium.

The Whisper 20, 30, 40 and 60 all have a flow control on the intake tube. Turn the knob backwards so the point faces the wall. You can also place plants in front of the intake tube to help the fish deal with the current.

Is there a power supply included with this filter?

This filter does not include a power supply. The filter will require for it to be plugged in to a standard US outlet.

Does this need to be primed after a power outage or is it self priming after power is interrupted?

Answer by ChewySep 27, 2022
These filters will self-prime as long as there isn’t any damage to them when the power comes back on (we recommend power strips with surge protection) and they are maintained regularly. If the impeller or motor aren’t cleaned often enough they could be too clogged to bring the water back up. Also, the water level in the tank is important. It should be no more than an inch or two from the top of the tank for the best and most efficient filtration.
