Give your cat companion his very own playground with Vesper V-High Base Cat Tree, 47.8-in. This cat tree provides endless opportunities for your feline to play, explore, scratch or just relax. And instead of ruining your furniture or carpet, she can sharpen her claws on one of the scratching posts! If your kitty just wants to relax and lounge, she can either crawl into the elevated, cube-shaped cubby or rest on one of the inviting plush cushions made of soft memory foam. When she wakes up from her snooze and is ready to play, the ball toy made of rattan will be hanging from the top platform ready to go!
Features a cubed cubby with two platforms for plenty of space to lounge.
Crafted with water-based lacquer and medium-density fiberboard (MDF) for durability.
Scratching posts are covered in a scratch-friendly material, so your cat can sharpen her claws freely.
Comes with irresistibly soft cushions made out of memory foam.
The ball toy dangles from the top platform to entice your feline friend and encourage play.
I purchased 2 of these cat trees, and one of my cats really took to them. I guess I didn't realize how much activity he was getting by climbing/jumping on them, because after about a month I took him into the vet due to some significant weight loss.
We did blood work, urinalysis, the works. Everything came back stellar.... turns out he's just getting that much more physical activity in his day!
So be forewarned! You cats may love these towers so much - it may cost you a hefty vet bill!
Awesome cat tree! Great quality, sturdy and easy to assemble!

Okay there are a few factors to consider when getting a cat tree. Assembly, machining (properly drilled holes, etc.), sturdiness, design, comfort and price. This masterfully covers all of them!
It took less than 30 minutes to put together (and no missing parts or screws LOL), photo directions were simple and wicked easy to follow, it's a one person job and is light enough to move around until you find the right spot for it.
But and most importantly, it's aesthetically amazing, so much better than those all fully carpeted trees, very modern and has a small footprint (which helps in NYC apartments).
I absolutely recommend this to all cat parents out there.
Great Design, Poor Quality

I bought a Vesper that my kittens loved. Balls fell of first time they touched it. After 4 months all the hanging toys and rope have fallen off. It's at the pet store while I wait for a replacement. Expect more for a hundred dollars.
Loved by the Kitty

I know this is a little more pricey than the carpet covered trees, but it is well worth it. It is much sturdier than other reviews would have you believe. It does require some effort to get the scratch posts tight enough to make it so though. I have twin 6-year-olds and a 3-year-old who all still believe everything is for climbing and this is holding up to that test as well as the cat. The hanging toy did not, but I'll reinstall that later :)
Looks good, Not stable or functional
on Oct 3, 2020
Purchased this in August 2020 for a two-year-old 11 pound cat. He did not trust the stability of the platforms and he did not seem to like the carpet pads that were included and avoided touching them. It didn’t look like he felt there was enough room to get to the top from the middle platform. He doesn’t use the scratching posts. So, the unit as it came was a total bust and he wouldn’t use it. I reconfigured it and removed the top platform. I added support under the condo cubby and replaced the carpet pads with other chair pads and now he loves it! But it doesn’t look as good as the factory configuration.
Easy to assemble. Very sturdy.

I really like this cat tree. It looks great in my space. It’s not wobbly. Unfortunately, my cat wants nothing to do with it. I hope that changes over time or I just purchased an expensive living room fixture.

I purchased this 5/30/20, assembled it soon after, assembly is not marked. But I got it up and my cats rarily use the scratchers, they like the perches. After less than a month the ropes on the scratchers started coming loose, one post by one. Called chewy and they want me to dis-assemble and send back. Ugh I Do lots of shelter work so I may just remove the Rope/string and donate it. For over $100 I would have expected a higher quality. Buyer beware. Also not thrilled with Chewy.
We love it!!!!!!

My cat is a homeowner now

As a millennial I cannot yet afford a condo of my own which is why I’m glad I could at least get this one for my cat Spooky. It was a little tricky to put together but the instructions pointed to a website with a step by step video that made it much easier. It seems pretty sturdy and doesn’t shake when she jumps on it (she’s 9.5lbs). Plus I like to think Spooky is a modern cat so I was a big fan of the overall design.
In closing, I’d 100% recommend this cat condo. It might be a bit pricey but Spooky deserves the best.
Great, but no match for kitten

Wanted a “condo” that looked more like furniture than a shag carpet, which this is great for! Only issue was the hanging toy lasted about a week with my kitten. She took one of the balls off and shredded it to bits. They also would pop off due to the knots not wrapping around the wood. (Works similar time a string of beads.)
