Description

Unleash the power of plants to keep your furry pal free of fleas, flea eggs, ticks, and even mosquitoes with the Vet's Best Cat Flea & Tick Gentle-Mist Spray. This chemical-free spray uses peppermint oil and eugenol from clove to kill ticks and fleas on contact―it even works on flea eggs to prevent infestations before they start. It’s 100% plant-based, so it’s gentle enough to be sprayed directly on cats 12 weeks or older and has a fresh, natural scent with no artificial fragrances. Thanks to its unique applicator that sprays a continuous, 360-degree mist, you can get more even coverage for your feline friend, especially if he’s not fond of sprays. Simply spray on the mist, massage into his skin and coat, and let the plant-based pest-eliminating action work on its own, without any mess. Plus, thanks to its non-staining formula, you can spray it anywhere your kitty likes to cuddle, including bedding, furniture, pillows, blankets, upholstery, carpets, and rugs. Because it’s pesticide-free, it’s also safe to use around plants, which makes it ideal for outdoor-loving kitties.

Key Benefits
  • Chemical-free mist spray kills ticks, fleas, and flea eggs on contact and repels mosquitoes, with peppermint oil and eugenol from clove.
  • Unique mist spray applicator allows for gentle, 360-degree coverage without abrupt sprays, making it ideal for dodgy kitties.
  • 100% plant-based formula is gentle enough to spray directly on cats 12 weeks or older as needed, or year round to prevent infestations.
  • Non-staining formula can be sprayed directly on bedding, furniture, pillows, collars, blankets, upholstery, carpets, and rugs.
  • Veterinarian recommended and proudly made in the USA with no chemicals, pesticides, toxins, pyrethrins or cedar oil; sprays using only compressed air.

Vets best did not last very long because the container is small. Very hard to press spray button and for anyone arthritic very difficult to use. I did love the mist and the scent isn't overwhelming like some of the others. Not sure if it was very effective and feel you had to spray a lot to get results.

    Consistency is key!

Soooooo, this product worked great for me all summer, as my cats LOVE to be outside. I never had any issues with fleas but when i was letting them outside i wanted to be safe rather than sorry. My cats HATE the spray, i have to force it upon them or put it on my hands and rub it on them, i dont know if its the smell or the sound the sprayer makes. But regardless, i would rather put this natural product on my babies rather than frontline etc so.... It worked for me all summer, i forgot to put it on my babies and the one came home scratching hard. I am going to keep up with the product everyday and see if it helps, i think she may have an allergy. I feel bad because i really just forgot the Soooooo, this product worked great for me all summer, as my cats LOVE to be outside. Also, the cats dont like it. and when you put it on them, they smell like the product for a few days so im not sure if my cats like that either. We will see if my consistency gets rid of them, if so, i will continue to support/promote this brand. … more

    This stuff is great.

I was a bit worried at first because l had read the oils were poisonous to cats so l used it sparingly on some outside strays l bring in sometimes. I also got the large home spray for the house (works great). The strays had only a small reaction to the smell. They didin't like it. I sprayed it on my hand and rubbed it on them until it dryed. Didn't take long. They wiggled but the spray worked. No negative side effects and they stopped itching. I used a bit every time l brought them in. It isn't a use once a month spray but it only takes maybe 10 or 15 min. I use it if l see my cats itching. I don't saturate them just a bit in my hand and rub it from their neck to tail on their back. I usually use the chemical once a month stuff that stops working but was able to skip it this month. Last year was terrible with fleas, this year only a month was a little bad. I try to always keep this on hand. Love the smell especially at Christmas time. Please don't raise the price. I have 14 rescue cats to keep happy. Thanks Chewy! … more

    Skeptic proved wrong again

The other night I noticed my maine coon was covered in the dreaded little black spirals and dirt.. I have had this mist on hand all summer and mostly used it for tick prevention (it works there, too, but this is a flea story) so I sprayed the cats, their bed, and went to work. Somewhat works but smells very over overwhelmingly of cloves.

This stuff is good for carpets, bedding, kitty beds, etc. But I would never put it directly onto my cats. I sprayed it first on their bedding and noticed an OVERWHELMING scent, like cloves. It made my nose burn at first. The clove scent is a good way to confirm it's natural, though. If you like cloves, then this scent is for you. It's too strong for me and I feel it would be very overwhelming to put directly onto my cats. What I did: put my cats in the other room, vacuumed really well, then sprayed this finely over the living room carpet. I waited for the scent to go away (took about 15 mins) before letting my cats back into the room. I have a small apartment (500 sqft) so this one bottle would probably cover most of it in a fine mist. I noticed some dead fleas when I shook out their bedding. I sprayed a bit onto my feet to see if it deterred fleas that live in my carpet. Haven't had one jump on me yet. Hoping this is true to the word on killing flea eggs which is why I'm putting it on my carpet and fabrics. I recommend it if you are fighting an infestation. I will buy it again as I already see results. … more

    Tried it, liked it!

This was the first time I used this product, and I was surprised at how well it works, smelled, and that my cats didn't run away! I also used it on their sleep beds and normally, with other products I've used, they'd wait a day or two before using their beds. But, thankfully, they were in their beds that same day. It's good. You should try it!

    Smells really nice!

    By on

It does smell really good which most sprays do not. We had already treated with FrontLine but we were still seeing fleas. We bought this spray because we could use it after the FrontLine treatment. It did kill the live fleas on the cats but we had more a few days later after the eggs hatched.

    I like the Smell.

well , I use it mainly on there bedding but they still have fleas, I'm gonna say I may not be using it properly. it seems to be a hit when I spray it on paper towel and wipe them down with it. no complaints and does smell harmless.

    good product

This product is fine, alhto our kitty is sensitive to noises and therefore we will likely not use this spray again but will continue to use the trigger-spray bottle.

    Works pretty good

    By on

It does kill on contact like it says, but it can be hard to get down to the skin on wiggly cats. It did work fantastically on my carpets and furniture though.
