My kitty took to her new bed quickly, and I love the aesthetic of it. Overall it's sturdy and well made. I did take off one star because the cushion is spot clean
My kitty took to her new bed quickly, and I love the aesthetic of it. Overall it's sturdy and well made. I did take off one star because the cushion is spot clean only, and I think at this price point that either the cover should be washable or removable for washing. "Something" happened on the cushion, and I took a chance and put the entire cushion in the washer by itself on delicate cycle with cold water, and air dried it. It came out nice, and didn't shrink.

I got this chair specifically for my little man who is 15 years old. He's has a larger body type than my other cat and has had trouble dropping weight since he was neutered many years ago, despite my efforts to monitor his diet. Jumping and climbing seem to put stress on his joints, but he loves napping in elevated spaces. I thought something like this might be a good compromise. It was! He loves his new chair and took to it almost immediately. It is now his favorite place to nap and lounge. The opening is wide enough that he has an unobstructed view of the room and the cushioned area large enough to be cozy without him feeling cramped. The chair is very lightweight and requires no assembly. Ready to enjoy right out of the box.

Right now, it’s something new, so my one kitty is hiding under furniture, but by evening I know that I am going to find him sleeping in his new cozy nest. Loved the fact that I didn’t have to put it together. It arrived in perfect condition and I really liked that idea. Made of natural ratan and the pillow is nice and fluffy. Would recommend.
