My dog has struggled with major skin issues since I adopted her last year. She had a yeast infection when I adopted her, and after six months of an holistic regimen, the vet confirmed the yeast was gone but not an unknown allergy. I did the 5Strand test and found out she’s highly intolerant to polyester! The material almost anything “dog” is made of, not to mention all of my own bedding that she sleeps on. I’m making lots of changes and also with her food by making her dog food for a while. She has high intolerance with those little extras added to most dog food. I will give an update as I see progress.

Found out my cat is allergic to apples and peanut butter. I had specifically asked the vet if she could have these two things and was told yes. Yet she was licking
Found out my cat is allergic to apples and peanut butter. I had specifically asked the vet if she could have these two things and was told yes. Yet she was licking all her fur off and itchy. So I tested her, though those two food items are safe for cats, they are not for my cat.

We test cat hair dog hair and teddy bear hair and all the tests came back the exactly same I wouldn’t recommend if your animal is in need.
