Can these reproduce
Answer by ChewyJun 09, 2022
These Dubia Roaches are able to reproduce.

Can these be shipped and survive in subfreezing temperatures or any guarantees they will arrive alive?
Answer by ChewyDec 31, 2021
Most of the insects do well in colder temperatures. We include packing peanuts in the shipment so the insects keep themselves warm. The insects will some times go into a hibernation if they get too cold. Unpack the insects and have them sit at room temperature to warm back up.

How big are these
Answer by ChewyDec 21, 2021
These small Dubia Roaches measure 3/8" and under.

is there care instructions for the roaches added? if not what is the best way to ensure they dont die within days?
Answer by ChewyMar 11, 2023
You can either store them in the cup they come in or you can get a Kritter holder. Then you can feed them carrots, roach chow and water crystals. Refeed them as needed every week.

Alive and Healthy

All the roaches arrived alive and healthy. Shipping is a little longer than a regular item but still a good buy.

Excellent!

I was pleased with the care that these feeders were given in shipping. There were plenty of air holes and the box was clearly marked that live, harmless insects were inside. There were a few that were DOA, but I don't think there was a way to prevent this. My beardie give his seal of approval for quality; he ate his meal as fast as he could get to them.

Just as described

These Dubia Roaches arrived alive and in great shape. Our juvenile bearded dragon is enjoying them immensely! Great price!

Live beardie feeders - Dubia

My first time ordering is from chewy and I highly recommend. In fact, I already ordered 500 more and will be placing a third order this week. There were tons of dubia sent, alive and thriving. I live in NY, shipped when cold and all was fine. With the free shipping over $50 it was much cheaper than buying from local store or online, literally 1/3 of the price.

Beardie loved them!

These showed up quick and packaged well. They were all alive and my Blue (bearded dragon) couldn't be happier munching on these guys. He's a younger dragon, we call it his tween phase, so he can eat the small but has moved to the medium with ease. He's ready to eat these guys as soon as he sees the container. I love that they don't smell like crickets or mealworms and also don't hop (more than one cricket has escaped). He likes chasing these around the terrarium.

May try again

It is the dead of winter. Unfortunately, only 19 out of the 100 survived the trip. If our dragon likes them, I will try ordering again in the spring. Hopefully it was the cold that was the issue.

Already purchased another 500! My colony is thriving and my reptiles are all fat and happy!
